B) No, we will not need her at our castle.

C) She can come, and she doesn't need to be our slave.

First things first, Gramleza she paid you for a service and we need to show that we are professionals. Second thing for the tied up girl, what can you offer to our kingdom. We are not interested in horney slaves or chairs.

I mean, she did show she’s capable by saving our rat friend (give the little guy a hug)
But yeah, I want to see what she can bring to the table besides just sex slave, I mean she can be a slave if she wants, (one that can leave whenever she wants) but I want to know what her resume is that may help our kingdom before we reward her with the position she desires

If her research is going to bring the dream invaders, why don't we just make a shed next to our castle and let her live there while still doing her research. One thing occurred to me Gramleza are you feeling intimidation by this newcomer. You will no longer be the most weirdest person in the castle with her.

D. Oh shit, Octavia Devenol is down! Concern yourself with Octavia instead, call the author's name, see if there's breathing or a pulse, ask this figure what they've done to Octavia.

Also, is part of Maya still in the lantern? I know she said she needed to concentrate on part of her body in her iron suit. We might need to get Abdle to try to get her attention so that we can get her iron body over here, or get her to get some people to help Octavia.

A. There's no way he'd believe you if we chose C, and I don't think this guy is related to anyone from out of this world, and Moonplant and Liverig showed up later. He might know Octavia though

"It was dark so I couldn't see well, but I believe I just saw the author Octavia Devenol get attacked by a figure with weird tentacles going right into the author's eye sockets. They kinda looked like one of the visitors visiting this world, Carnavia i think?
Octavia collapsed and then was taken away by the figure. The figure's face morphed into what looked like Lady Liverig's daughter Moonplant before leaving I think? and, and..."

Bobbie, Look out the window, see if they are escaping outside, perhaps you might get a better view of who you just came across.

There's no way I'm sending spy rat to chase them, the little guy suffered enough. In fact, Pet him to feel better, and calm your nerves, Bobbie. It might calm Spy rat down too after the night he had.

But I will say that Carnavia is a bio weapon virus not of this world, and she may have taken control of Moonplant. Might do the same to Octavia, or may have just eaten her.

How do I know this? uhhh, I think I overheard someone in the party room talk about Carnavia. It's probably important for this guy to know in case Carnavia starts becoming a threat, considering she gotten at least one or two people.

B. Best chance to make one more friend before we have to see steinhardt. Tell the guard to pretend he couldn't find you for like, 5 more minutes.

If octavia is dead, and we all saw that person at the party, then that must mean that it must be a relative, a doppelganger, someone in disguise, or maybe Carnavia did something. though they still said something about regretting writing that book.

Now that I think about it, I remember that Spy rat was hiding under Octavia's(?) dress to listen in, and then immediately afterwards, spy rat was coming out of Bobbie's lantern. Abdle told us not to worry about it... Any idea what Spy Rat witnessed between being in her dress and ending up in the lantern, Abdle? What does Ratislav have to say about what happened?

He can probably help our spy rats lose their fear again after they've been too petrified to go out and do spy work or even scout the area ever since the Shadow Taker killed one of their own. (Don't tell him about our rats being spies for now.) Mainly I'd love to use his fear feasting abilities on our rats . If I remember, when Shadow Taker attacked the castle, the spy rats did nothing but hide, and didn't even scout the area to find the cat in the first place.

Tell him that while you agree losing complete fear from fighters can be detrimental as it can lose a sense of danger, having too much fear is also just as bad, as if a soldier's fear overcomes the act to fight, defend, or simply just go out to scout or search, it could cause an entire kingdom's civilians getting robbed, killed, or kidnapped

Abdle, did you forget? Bobbie has the spy rat with her. You can still see what happens through the little creature, and this time at a safe distance, and maybe we can communicate through the rat if needed.

Bobbie, this is a good position for you and abdle to train your mental fortitude when you are separated. I feel there will be a moment or three in the future where you both will be separated and not just this moment. You two will need to persevere on your own when it comes to those moments. If we are going to prepare for those moments, and what better time than now? We can't bank on you two being together at all times. Bobbie is after all in disguise still.

Does Bobbie leave you by choice? I mean she was asked too just now, and as a small kingdom you have to be careful which insults you fight and which you let slide.

Gonna be blunt since it's what seems needed. We've seen you screw up plans because you push your way over all others. With that said... she's done that too. What the two of you need is to have a solid chat about how this is and how it should be. Do remember your fates are tied.

No. 1129065 ID: fe0bf7

I will say, Bobbie did tell us she was really nervous about leaving you behind, as she feels she acts unpredictably without you. This kinda happened that one night when she hung out with Victorio too. If anything, I think she might be a bit codependent on you in a way.

As for keeping you hidden throughout this party, right now we needed to play things safe. Remember not only are you being hidden, but Bobbie was also hiding her identity as much as she could. Our kingdom is kinda in a difficult spot with eyes on it as it slowly grows, not to mention being in conflict with another kingdom. Being in disguise was a way to get a taste of what the other kingdoms might think of ours that they otherwise would not have said if Bobbie or you were revealed or get overwhelmed so that we can know how to act. And from this, we both gained intelligence, and potential allies. Sometimes it pays to be patient.

At the moment, there are a couple things you can do that you are on your own. You can either with Maya's help, learn more about the guests while Bobbie is gone, or let us get a look at what Bobbie is up to, and through spy rat, communicate with Bobbie in whatever way we can help her, but very subtly.

Personally, I think I pick the latter option, it's time we check in on Bobbie, and see what you and we can do to help her on our own through spy rat.
>>
No. 1129066 ID: d1dbca

Honestly she has a resentment towards you. You two are far away from the day of robbing people in the forest where you had to relayed on one another. Now you have your own castle, lots of subjects and a reputation. She outgrown you and the only reason why she didn't ditch you is because you two are connected by the contract that you made. So at least you got that on your side and as long as she doesn't find a way to destroy it she will not be able to get rid of you.

someone couldn't leave well enough alone... Is that chef seriously petty enough to interfere with us? If so, he's not smart enough to know I'm in a pretty good position to ruin his plans a little if he ruins ours.
I played nice and left his affairs alone, but if he's going to do this and think he's gonna get away scott free without consequences as he, an outside force, tries to interfere with this world, then we'll just have to play a bit dirty and interfere with his affairs too. Feels like he's breaking some rules here meddling with things, so alls fair if I breaks some rules too to make him regret this, right? That said...

psst, Maya, you can hear me, right? I didn't want to have to do this, but depending on how things go here, may you send a message to Triumphant, and/or Dervan for me later please? I'll let you know what the message is later if it comes to it, but hopefully won't have to come to it...

Since we already can't trust that chef, and he's interfering with our psychic link, it seems like he's trying to manipulate things in his favor that will hurt us here. We are going to have to find a way to contact bobbie, and find out what is going on in here, or impede this meeting in some way... that shadowy figure is our best bet.

C. Just simply talking to them is fine enough distraction I think. But then again, maybe spy rat can help by "accidentally" slipping out of Maya's hand, and running towards the guard to startle him or something? It will keep the guard's eyes down on the rat, and not up on the ceiling, y'know?

> that is why I believed it would have been better if you had followed her inside instead of staying out with me.

Why would Bobbie specifically leave the rat outside...? Was she banking on the telepathic stuff? Well if she was coerced the rat should be able to say so. So rat why did she leave you out here? Other option is she did so by choice perhaps unaware of the tele-defenses. Or she knew but what needs such secrecy that she'd deny us all intel? Just too many unknowns. Worst case he's an assassin here to kill Abdle or Bobbie or Stein or even Maya for all we know. For extra spice perhaps Stein is sacrificing guards so he can plausibly deny it all. Or to test us, see if we'd "save" him from enemies. Less bad would be a spy after secrets. Just too many unknowns. With what little we have the safest path is to alert the guards. Whatever's supposed to happen stops dead.

C: I'll take our chances with the rat. We don't know what kinds of protections is in that room that could hurt Maya. And she needs a moment to collect herself.

To Maya only: Take your time, Maya. And don't worry, the letter can be delivered sooner, or later. much much later. Days even. Plenty of time for that really. the message I want to give is not going to fix the current situation we are in currently.

Also D: To Abdle only: Abdle, it's your time to shine! I have an odd idea for how we can communicate with the spy rat. Ablde, you and your amazing Door of Opportunity power is going to be very helpful here. But for your ability to activate, you'll need to sleep for like, 5 minutes. Spy rat can get in the lantern, hold you, and then Gray opportunity can probably communicate with the rat that way. I've seen him get into Nasty's head, learn her fears to manipulate her. So if he's able to do that, there's a chance he can look into spy rat's mind and let us know what is up and what to do. If you can't sleep... I don't know, ask Maya to bonk you over the head until you go unconscious or something???

OBJECTION! There’s something suspicious about her claims that does not match what we are witnessing, and I want to hear what the other Lesser Demons say before we act

First, why does she have her master’s cane if she was the one getting hit by him? You would think Steinhardt would keep the cane after hurting her.
But let’s assume he dropped it or threw it to the ground in anger, In which case: Second, he hit her hard enough to break her porcelain face (which I must say porcelain is pretty durable) but before that, he told her not to cover her face with her hands, which I assume means she was shielding herself with her hands. If he hit her hard enough to break her porcelain face, that would mean he would have hit her hands hard enough to break them when she was shielding her face. And yet, we saw her holding the cane with no issue. Her hands don’t look broken or injured either…

Right now, I’m leaning towards d: bring up those contradictions, accuse her of lying but what do the others think?

Whatever we choose in the end, DONT touch that black liquid.

Legit points. However accusations of lying is a bit much. Poke holes, let her dig herself deep. "Well good job on getting the cane away from him but how'd you manage to do so? Especially if he hit your hands! How are your hands? Oh and is he still mad? We've got a friend with him inside!" Or along those lines.

Very good point. I got a bit too excited. Yeah poke holes, and play dumb.

Maybe rearrange the words: first ask her "Oh no! we need a doctor! How are your hands?" Depending on how injured she says it is, then we can hit her with the innocent question "Well good job on getting the cane away from him but how'd you manage to do so? Especially if he hit your hands!"

If we ask her how she managed to get the cane away from him first, she might realize that she was holding the cane just fine and say something like "he didn't hit me that hard when I covered my face"
But if we first ask how her hands feel first, she might look for sympathy points and say it feels worst than it actually is. THEN we can ask about how she managed to get the cane from him and hold it. Maybe even ask her if we can see her hands especially with how badly her face is injured, the same might be for her hands.
More likely to catch her lying this way

Not sure if we should mention about having our friend in there yet unless we absolutely have to.

Well, she is giving it to Maya.
Hey Maya, Do you want it, or do you want us to keep it. If you keep it, you might want to get it examined before you wear it

That being said, If Maya gives it to us, let’s not put it on until we have Oribital look at it.

A. I'm with Abdle. Sometimes being a queen means making a difficult unfortunate choice like this for better for our kingdom in the longrun. He's upset negotiations didn't go well, so we do not want to anger Steinhardt further and make him our enemy by stopping his orders of killing the maid. Sorry Bobbie. At this moment, we should just salvage what we can in terms with this bird's kingdom.

I know you feel guilt, but this is more Steinhardt's doing, not yours. I don't know what happened in there, but feeling guilt for something he did because you didn't do well at negotiations sounds more like psychological torture he's pulling you into. Kind of a "LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO" kind of thing, you know?

B) if Steinhardt going to be wasteful and fucking insane individual it doesn't mean that we should be as well. Intimidated the general take the maid with you and leave this castle.

B) Abdle's mostly right buuuuut fuck these birds.
Also we could probably just say Seinhardt said we could have her corpse and just pretend to kill her. It wouldn't be weirder than what any of the other freaks her do.

1. Steinhardt is responsible for the maid's fate. Did you give the order for her to be executed? Obviously no so you're blameless. Just remember this, so you know who Steinhardt is the type to execute his own on whims.
