Give the protagonist of this story a name and backstory.
>>
No. 1109951 ID: 6d5273

his given name is Fluffy
his actual real monster name is Lagomagnus, but he's not supposed to refer to himself as that name. Only Fluffy.

as a child, he used to live a peaceful simple life in a small hidden monster town in a giant underground cave. However, humans invaded their town to mine for gold and diamond, and some kind of weird magical material not even the monsters knew about. The monsters were too weak to kick them out, so they had to just live with it for years, even let them know where some of the materials were just so they can get the miners out faster (they really had no use for the materials anyways, they just want the humans out)

However one day, a massive cave-in happened from the mining, killing the majority of the villagers and miners including Lagomagnus' family. Lagomagnus was one of the very few survivors, but luckily, one of the human miner survivors felt sympathetic, and decided to take Lagomagnus to an orphanage (which was actually a place for monster slaves) where he was eventually trained to fit into human society and for this job. He was given the name fluffy because as Deavela Trebyle said, he's nothing more than an exotic pet.

You know what? I like your gumption! so to compensate, since you want a challenge how about this:

if you can finish this mission before nightfall, I will see with the higher ups about raising your level from beginner, to experienced.

finish it quicker before evening and capture the perpetrator without killing them, and I will see if we can raise it up two whole levels to advanced!

basically, the faster you can get this quest done, the higher I will get the people who assign heroes rankings to put your ranking up, and we can put you on more treacherous missions.

Anyways, A. Is this guy even a member with the guild? we don't even know their name, or their rank. For safety reasons, we can't in good faith offer them this quest, or any quest until they go through the proper procedure in signing up to join this guild as a hero like all the other heroes.

If they are insistent, tell them they are free to do this quest on their own, but not through us, meaning they won't get rewarded or receive any benefits from us. We will also still keep the quest open for heroes in the guild to take, whether they want to sign up with us beforehand, or not and do this without our sponsorship.

Okay, well, in my opinion...

Wandering Druid seems to have done the job alright. No battles or anything, but the job was done, and that's enough.

Farm Knight...failed, but possibly not? Though letting him escape was a problem, if the chicken touchings no longer continue, that's a success. Still, would have been better if he didn't let him escape...but I wouldn't call it a total failure.

Imprisoned Knight, yeah, no, she's proved her skill and all but her behavior is very bad. Threatening our clients puts a blemish on the name not only of her, but the entire guild. Until she fixes this behavior, she cannot be trusted.

Frozen Scorpion did good.

Ballerina Knight has went above and beyond, extremely impressive. Not only did she get the juice and eyelashes, but also went out of her way to help someone else...very good. For now, I'll say she's done the best out of all the ones we sent.

Hog Hammerer also did good.
>>
No. 1115160 ID: ef719c

Wandering Druid: He got the job done, and that's all that matters. Great work

Farm Knight: That's a failure. He should have taken better precautions to keep the criminal apprehended, like maybe tying the arms tight so he wouldn't have cut his arm like that, or maybe knocking the criminal unconscious. He's lucky it wasn't a murderous criminal, because that would have been a lot worse. Sadly will have to be marked as a fail.

Imprisoned Knight: she did well on her job, but her threats to the merchants is not good. If they were refusing to pay her for her services, that's understandable, but she should have alerted us instead so we can compensate her, and reprimand the merchants for not rewarding her what's due. but threatening with violence is a no go as that gives the guild a bad name. Guild should probably have a word with her about what happened, maybe a penalty, and let her know to alert us if the client does not pay her..

Frozen Scorpion: Well done! Was the criminal taken into custody by the village or guild? or was the criminal killed?

Ballerina Knight: excellent job. Though I wonder, what was her side of the story with what happened with the imprisoned knight and the merchants? She probably witnessed all that. Also, did she find out why that eye was observing the village? I suggest giving her bonus pay for taking care of both jobs.

Hog Hammerer: I want to say he did good, but last I checked, there was one giant rat listed in the job description, yet he has a couple giant rat tails. Was there more than one? If so, he might need a little bit of a bonus pay.
>>
No. 1115166 ID: fd169b

Druid: sorry it was a waste of time. Thank you for being professional about this.

Farm Knight: I hate to do this to you, but you didn't accomplish the task. I know, I wouldn't have expected him to cut off his hand either, but that's how these jobs go. Sometimes there's more to it than it seems.

Imprisoned: Good work, but, you have to learn to be subtle. If you piss off the quest givers then they won't give quests, and then we won't have any use for you will we?

Scorpion: thumbs up

Ballerina: so how was the performance? Looks like either the eye was too into it or absolutely hated it.

Hog: thumbs up
