This story is set in the same world as Rotten Apple and Hero vs Villain Dynamic. The story will primarily be dealing with a lot of paperwork and bureaucracy.

- Gambling Knight -> The Screaming Phantom
The only one with a mask, to protect her eye from the attacks...

- The Surface Crawler -> Bomb Frogs
She can use stealth to take out the druids, if she's so experienced.

- Alchemy Knight -> Furrius Fungus
Tell him to concoct some fungicide.

- Jester Knight -> The Necromancer Apprentice
Beginner quest for a beginner adventurer, with little cost. I don't know what the second tile is though, not on the list.

- Village Champion -> The hand of the chicken toucher
I'd rather not let the corpse fan near a corpse lover...

- Corpse Lover -> Strange Anomaly
All that's left to give.

- Shadow Taker -> The Drowned Spirit
It seems to be the most important, so the one with the highest rank goes.

- Naughty Sheep -> Stone Hydras
He's strong, and you can't really kill something that is made of stone...

Village Champion -> The hand of the chicken toucher. Is getting my vote as well.
>>
No. 1124249 ID: 23562b

As far as the village champion goes, if we give him the hand of the chicken toucher (since that has most votes), he is probably gonna get pretty pissed that we are giving him an easy mission considering he is experienced, and the mission is labeled as a minor nuisance, much like the farmer knight was insulted that we gave him an easy mission (description said he's pretty much like the farmer knight after all). Therefore, if we want to have him take this mission, we gotta do a bit of mind games to make it look more enticing to his skills by first recommending he use a construct.

tell him you highly recommend he use a construct on this mission, excuse could be we want to try having heroes test it out. Upon hearing this, he will probably be more angered about having to use a construct over being angered about having to do an easy mission as having to use a construct would be perceived as more insulting to his skills. we then argue a little bit, until finally we give in and respect his skills and ability to be able to go and do the mission without a construct out of pride.

lets do Jester knight dealing with Necromancer Apprentice. The Necromancer's apprentice would probably be less likely to harm the jester knight since attacking the king's jester would be very taboo, unless the apprentice wants to live as a fugitive.

I think the main thing that worries me about that is that this is labeled as a high danger quest, and the Alchemy Knight is listed as a beginner
>>
No. 1125105 ID: ac6db5

Anyway, my vote is naughty sheep go after the stone hydra as his skill level can match the danger of the stone hydra. It seems like they are being built from nothing, and even if he destroys them, I'm sure they can rebuild themselves back, so technically, we wouldn't be killing them. Plus, if they are growing out of the mountain, they would probably just be stationary in one place, which could work with his nerf of not being able to see his enemy properly. If he's still not okay with killing it, think what we will want to ask him to do is to find out what exactly is causing the hydra to be emerging out of the mountain, or convince him that leaving the hydra alive could cause multiple people to die to weigh the options. Like, would he prefer one giant hydra to perish (or is it three?) or an entire village to perish?

C. He's worried about it being hurt or killed.

Let him know the construct is not a living thing, it was artificially created by a human(?) and can be rebuilt if destroyed. Even if he doesn't need a construct, bringing it along would still be beneficial to collect data from it even if it fails or get destroyed, basically this is a good chance to stress test the things.

the shield construct would be best for a stress test for a high dangerous mission. The hero won't have to rely too much on it since he's experienced so that even if the shield fails while testing it, he can still take a hit. Let him know that we want to stress test the shield construct so that if there's any issues, we can upgrade them and eventually, more people won't have to worry about being hurt in battle through upgrades. Just be sure to return the pieces if he wants it rebuilt if it breaks

I was originally going to say storage construct as one of those would be nice to have to carry fragments of the stone hydra after battle, but we probably only had the one that we gave to the village champion, plus part of the reason we are offering constructs is to test them, and the shield construct is best for this missions for testing.

If he is still not sold on the construct, let it be.

Alchemy knight vs Furrius Fungus

>>

Alchemy Knight for the fungus definitely, but the arrows construct would be most useful on the bomb toads. Unless we have more than one of each construct, then send em for both.

C) Insist that he should use the arrow construct.

No. 1125609 ID: fd169b

No offense was meant. Since he fights at a distance, one assumes, it simply seemed the arrows would compliment his fighting style.

If not that, then the scout would be perhaps useful. Just something to watch his back. And sneakier than the flying one.
>>
No. 1125708 ID: dd27e2

B) might be a better option for him.
>>
No. 1125711 ID: d91967

Personally, I think the arrows might be better. if any manages to dodge the bomb explosions, the knight might chase them with bombs if they escape into the forest, and cause a forest fire or something. The scout might be better for the surface crawler to look for bomb frogs as she sneaks to the druids

but I guess it's no big deal if he gets the scout instead, it could help him weed out any stragglers and the surface crawler might be better with the arrows as her magic is weak and the arrows can pick off any bomb frogs in the distance or in areas where she isn't looking.

if we decide in the end to give alchemy knight the arrow construct, we'll have to manipulate him into doing so: "yeah, your probably right. The arrow construct is probably too advanced for a beginner. The scout construct is for the best and much safer." It'll probably get him to want the arrow construct to prove a point.

Otherwise, if we decide to vote for the scout construct, then just ask "would you like the scout construct?" don't mention anything about the arrow construct not being for beginners
