Sweet and naive, you are a noble orphan girl named Haru with an optimistic demeanor, shining reputation, and a charming smile.
Your sheltered upbringing often leads to obliviousness on your part, though, and often people take advantage of your kindness.
>You review the recent events with new knowledge in light.
It's a troubled time for the realm of Aoich.
Political and economic alliances are crumbling like stale biscuits. All that will be left are frequent and bloody battles. You do not know the exact details of how it occurred, but in just a few days you saw your parents destroyed by debts, or at least that is what you assume.
The guards came and took everything after the funeral. You were left with only a huge empty castle in the Capital. You sold that, too, before they could take it away from you.
A distant relative of your noble household wanted you to come with them to the northern country, Viktoria, but you were born in Aoich, and in Aoich you will stay. So, reluctantly, you separated from all ties. At the ripe age of fifteen, you spent what money you had inherited to go far back east to your early hometown, Belos...
...though, now you have something that wealth cannot buy: freedom. Freedom to do what you wish for the rest of your life.
>You turn your attention back to current matters.
About that water, though, first. You have a few options.
I. Try to find it on your own. Belos is large, but not too large, and you're sure that you could point out the distinct shape of a well, if you try hard enough and walk far enough... maybe?
II. Ask one of the people you know for directions. There's Kyou, but you've only spoken like once, and he's probably busy teaching kids how to aim at the archery targets in the northern slums. Then, there's Akane, your best friend from when you were kids. She knows lots about Belos, but she can't go with you on a normal route to the well, since she has a bounty over her head. She might not take you suddenly coming back too well, either.
III. Something else. Maybe you could ask someone else to get the water from the well since it's for the orphanage, or negotiate with a merchant for water canteens, or... hmm...
