Crouch down and wait. If it moves closer to the tree, it'll lose maneuverability in that direction, so rush it if that happens.

Relys quickly pulls himself together and flattens himself against the tree.

"Did it notice me? What do I do? I know nothing about this organism's disposition apart from what you have already seen. You haven't had experience with this kind of creature, have you? Can you even store data? I've never seen an artificial intelligence work so well without databanks. Perhaps this is a communications device? or maybe..."

Relys' train of thought rambles off.

Sneak a peek at the thing. See if you can determine any extra information about it. It might be coming around from your left, but I'm having a hard time seeing.

I'm going to guess that the creature likes to just smash its way through anything in its path. Get out from behind the tree and see if you can quickly jab it with a sedative.

Wait a minute... I think I have a better idea of what the creature looks like now. It's got a giant armor plate on its front, but it's got no armor on its butt.

If you can stab somewhere behind that armor plating you should be able to get the needle through.

Can you get up high somehow? I don't think it can climb at all. If you can somehow hide from it then sneak up from behind.

>|No, you can't ever count on other people being competent.| She glares pointedly at Relys,
>|If you want something done right, you're gonna have to take it into your own hands. You're going to have to link your specimens up to an IV and introduce antidotes and soporifics to balance out the sedatives. The same way all of the other non-special biologists in the Wheels do. Sheesh, what are you? Straight out of Education?|
|Er, well, yes.|
>|Wait... You're not kidding me, are you?| She pauses.
