While your avatar slept, you were contacted by another god called Whisper, who answered some of your questions about godhood, but in exchange for a boon. A new day has dawned, and you feel refreshed. Your powers have been replenished, and you feel stronger than ever. Though you are still just a little god at the moment...

The village seems like a good place to collect folowers. Though Brimbo would probably not be so welcome there, but we can put him to some use. We should get him to look around fro any small Beastmen tribes that we could influence, preferably some species smaller and weaker than himself. Then if we can we should find a way to grow our avatar and make it more imposing.

You check on your followers. Brimbo is feeding the sheep in front of the stable. Gwendolyn is practicing with her sword right outside of the house. It is early in the morning.

If you want, you could make some modifications to your avatar, but a change in size would be much easier through a slime's natural eating processes.

Let's give it tougher skin. Plus an extra eye.

Does the slime inherently have shapeshifting/stretching abilities? If not, apply that. Then let's open up that door and get to traveling. First order of business: make the slime avatar stronger so we can't die from being stepped on. What food can we eat, as a slime? Perhaps we can head over to the forest and collect some fallen branches to eat while also looking for possible believers.

Change your shape into a cube for now.

Start noming as much food as possible.

You continue outside with similar ease, as the main room has no door, and cottage door is unlocked. You slide over to an area that looks promising to your slime body. There is a tree surrounded by loose needles, a fallen branch, some rocks, and an unspecified creature. Everything but the rock is digestable to your slime-body, though some may take longer or be harder to digest than others.

So, what's for breakfast?

You eat the branch and all of the available pine needles. The creature has a simple mind, but it is scared of you and retreats into the tree. Your slime body is now bigger than Brimbo's head, but it feels engorged. In its natural state, it would not need any more food for weeks. If you wish to grow further, you will have to alter your body again.

It might not be time for gigantor yet, but I agree... if we are to attract more followers, an increase in size might be a good idea.

You make some more alterations to your slime body. It can now grow to much larger sizes. It occurs to you that you could make your form more appealing, inspiring, or frightening with various mutations in order to help with your acquisition of followers.

You gain experience with miracles of transformation and mutation.

We could be a mutagen god, transforming our followers into powerful super-creatures...

Regardless, i'm all for a more appealing form. Beauty does a fine job of impressing people. Perhaps a feminine form for when we need to inspire our believers?

We should probably start thinking about assigning ourselves a gender, or remaining decidedly androgynous, because if we ever adopt a form other than a blob of slime, the question is going to come up. Unless we have a gender already. Of course, if we take up mutation or change as a domain, having a malleable gender might be a good idea.

And, considering Transformation and Mutation are our latest power, that might be a good idea.

I would like to point out here that Tolerance can imply acceptance of strange things. Mutation fits within that concept.

Turn the slime into a less 'cute' color. How about silver? Alter its digestive system so that it can process rocks. Then let's eat the nearby rocks.

We have enough slime-girls already. :/

Our form should be inspiring to those who see it, something that commands respect worthy of a god. We shouldn't go into a specific dierction with intimidating or appealing. We are a god of acceptance and in that respect our form should reflect this. I believe we should work toward a sort of blend between the two to create a terrifying beauty, something that both the monsterous and the most attractive of appearences can see themselves within and will be drawn to. This is all long term of course, for now a simple change in color to silver or perhaps a warm inviting color and a shift of shape to include more human or orcish features, as those are all we yet know. Adding a maw, some basic limbs, and ears would be a good start on the the whole process.

I'd like to have our god be a god of communication and understanding, as we were when we convinced our first two followers to reconcile their differences.

In the interest of that, I'd like to keep our form malleable so we can change depending on who we're dealing with.

Malleable gender sounds good, and let's go for an inspiring kind of form. Silver is a nice color, as is blue and white.

you guys are all think long term, you would have to use a lot of your mystic juice to to anything like that. we are only the size of a head. so unlike slime quest we can't just eat everything and get HUGE!! our slime body needs to digest it.

Maybe we should be the god of improvement through change.
Through our initial interactions, we've improved the orc's lot in life, and the farmer's, as well, through changing the situation.
We're already developing a bit of talent with the whole alteration thing, too.

You take some time to consider your future prospects. As a god, you have changed two people's lives for the better, so beneficial change could be a good domain to work on. Similarly, your experimentation on your slime body lends itself well to change. Considering your previous thoughts on becoming a god of tolerance and compassion, you feel that you have a direction to aim for when you ask for worship.

On the other hand, you have many aspirations for your avatar, and have considered changing it to become more appealing to worshipers. When you have more power, you could make significant changes to your form. For more immediate effect, you give your slime body the ability to change color and make it turn silver. You choose to remain genderless for now.

This growing business has taken more time than you had anticipated, but noon is still a few hours away. What will you do now?

You head back. On your way, you check on Brimbo and Gwendolyn to see what they are doing. Brimbo is resting, looking up at the sky. Gwendolyn is tending to the sheep with her animal.

The layout of Gwendolyn's house is quite simple. There are four rooms. The first room has a fireplace and various tools stored away. The second room is where Gwendolyn sleeps, and also houses her armor and personal belongings. The third room is the dining room. It has a table and some chairs, as well as some cabinets. The fourth room is empty, and Gwendolyn put your slime body in it last night.
