[FORCE] + [SHAPE] = unnamed, was used to shape a wooden sign into a wooden sword.

[FORCE] + [ICE] = This combination creates ice and fires it straight ahead.

[FORCE] + [WATER] = This combination creates water and fires it straight ahead.

[SHAPE] + [SHAPE] = This does nothing. It appears to work only with a given material.

[SHAPE] + [ICE] = You can create different shapes with ice. retains its form quite nicely, forming solid (though slippery)shapes and forms.

[SHAPE] + [WATER] = You can create different shapes with water. loses it's shape the instant you stop your focus.

[ICE] + [ICE] = This infuses the ice with more magic. increasing the strength of the substance.

[ICE] + [WATER] = Conjure Snow; fell to the ground in a pile.

[WATER] + [WATER] = This infuses the water with more magic. increasing the strength of the substance.

I found Arcane to be way overpowered when I played. Have they nerfed that by now?

And about water, I found a way to actually have wet lightning (though they might have patched that out). It isn't all that great (at least compared to the brokenness of the arcane+steam+lightning beam), but is still cool to have.

Arcane has been nerfed enough so that the Beam of Death is no longer classified as a WMD. Still powerful though.

The best combination I found was freezing opponents and then getting them with Arcane Lightning for quad damage. Arcane does double damage on frozen targets, and lightning does double damage on water/ice.
My preferred method is Shield-arcane-lightning-ice-ice + shift-left-click and RUNNING.
It creates a line of highly explosive icicles that cause lightning damage until they go boom.
Also, they nerfed the old trick of just spamming arcne mines or rock/ice formations, by expanding the radius so that you will get caught in the explosion too.

If [Force] + [Shape] = using force to shape make some material take on a shape, then I bet that [shape] + [shape] = shaping form AND material, or at least allowing the alteration of tougher substances.

One cheap thing I actually hope they do keep is re-freezing frozen enemies. It is the only way I could get past those goddam ultra-fast yetis of instant death (I never got multiplayer Magica to work on my computer).

Have you considered setting up and using board icons for glyphs? Not sure how well it would work though. Could be hard to read. Unless you put the glyph name in the icon somewhere!
