Ohoho. Ahhh, it's a rather unfortunate tale. Louka wanted to rule in favor of the two rightful tribe leaders, Ki'iren and Koa'amal. He turned all of the denizens of this forest town into plants and animals, all but Koa'amal, whose spirit was removed from her body to be used as a puppet for his pleasure, and Nikpot who became the shadowbeast meant to ward off wayward wanderers. Using her power, Koa'amal made a mirage of the sun to communicate with whoever could see her. She wrote messages in the sky and augmented her mirage (in some rather disturbing ways) to gain attention.

Well, since Joey really wants to not see Rasmir bumping uglies with some dude, she'll go ahead and start investigating the situation at hand. There are a few weird things that she wants the answers to. Who exactly was that twerpy inkling? What's with the plant life (and lack thereof)? Where are the rest of the civilians?
