Hello! My name is Cheelop, but most people just call me Chee. After my first home was destroyed, I had to wander the land for a very long time. But now, I've found a nice new home with nice new kobolds! I can't do much, but I try to gather what food I can. In fact, I think I can smell dinner cooking now!

Booyah! I think I just heard him say "I can't hurt you but you can hurt me!"

Push that healing magic at him and do a soulless little dance atop the resulting pile of ash!

Shit, looks like his nono-place isn't the only thing wierd about Chee.

Chee is...special...to say the least.
>>

Well, whatever. Doesn't really matter in the long run I guess.

Knew it.

Chee's a homunculus. Or maybe a life golem actually... is that the same thing? Whatever the case, they're some sort of artificially created kobold.

But that isn't important. Continue to HEAL THE FUCK OUT OF THAT NECROMANCER!

Huh. A lack of a soul explains that, I suppose. No matter! We shall be your will, and together we shall insure your happiness! Now heal that abomination against life into dust!
>>
No. 321896 ID: b6ca92

>>321892
No, it makes sense. No soul means no female or male essence, so no gender. Looks like we are a homonculus after all; would also explain the lack of need for waste excretion.

>"Oh? That is surprising to you, I can tell. Alas, you have successfully put me past the point of repair, and I seem to have waited too long to take your friends' soul. I would say well played, if this were no accident. I wish I'd have lived just a bit longer, to find out what you are, little kobold. All I know, if that you have been dead for over one year. Why your body lives, I do not know."
>>
No. 321899 ID: 44766a

Would also explain the need to be useful. By the way, Chee, it doesn't really matter if you are an artificial being. You are you. You think and feel just like any other.

Good job. You have done well. YOu have destroyed an evil necromancer and saved your friend.
NOW GO HEAL HIS ASS.

Don't think. Now isn't the time to think about mind-breaking revelations, you'll have plenty of time to do that back at base. Grab the Necro's robe and wake up your pal and either continue with the scouting or go back to base. If he doesn't wake, try to bring him yourself. If he's too heavy, try laying out the robe and putting him on so you can pull one end of the robe to drag him home.

You did a good job Chee.

You did alright. None of your team died whose death could have been prevented. As a healer, that means you did good. Furthermore, your enemy was destroyed. That means you've done well as a warrior and a bold.
The lack of soul is interesting, but not hugely important. Lots of people don't have souls. Hell, a lot of the world's most important people don't.

For now, see about healing your comrade.

Before you get angsty, Chee, consider the following:
* You have emotions (including compassion)
* You have thoughts
* You have a sense of morality

You are a person no matter what some pile of bones says about your soul, and you are a good person at that, risking your life to save your companion.
>>
No. 321940 ID: 7aedd2

But Fraga's clearly there in this scene (guy with headband plus use of the word 'dude'), and he's talking about going...
>>

Read the double-dead corpse.

Hug Kradis.

Also optionally tell him you aren't a really a sir either. Don't feel like you have to do it but go ahead if you want.

I figured he was helping plan out these routine patrols, and then went to get you a map and some clothes for when you got back. He seems like the type to at least comment at some point along this trip, and he hasn't been in any pictures.

It's also possible we're only allowed a Party of three at a time and Fraga is in our Party Members menu.
>>
No. 321946 ID: bd2a40

Steal robe to look awesome, heal Kradis.
>>
No. 321954 ID: 7aedd2

Oh and Cheelop, don't worry about what the necromancer said. Once we get back and have some time to think about it, we'll discuss it, but we've got more important things to do at the moment.
>>

Of course the lack of soul is important! It means Chee is the perfect vampire-hunting necromancer-busting zombie-smashing kobold fighting machine!
It may take you a while to accept this, Cheelop, but today your destiny has just revealed itself to you: you are fated to be a total badass.
>>
No. 321964 ID: c2c011

>>321906
Well that's pretty fucked up, still, not like anyone else has to know. Hey, that could be why you don't got any gender bits and why you're so small, you're stuck at the age of 1 since you died a year ago, so you can't really grow or go through puberty or any of those things.

Anyway, time to wake up that dude and tell him we killed the necromancer good and then return to the camp to tell them that a Lich is active in the area.
>>
No. 321967 ID: 9096b5

it's just a technicality, man. you're as much a kobold as anyone else. don't worry.

go on, heal your friend if you have any juice left, and proceed to loot everything that bird thing carried.
>>
No. 321973 ID: faa0a6

a ghast? id consider a homunculus but they are not made from the dead.

anyway, what happened one year ago?

GOOD JOB CHEE.

And seriously don't worry about the soul thing. You just attacked a powerful necromancer to save somesone you just met, so while you may not have a soul, you do have heart. There is one thing you could clear up for us though: A while back you said "After my first home was destroyed, I had to wander the land for a very long time". Roughly how long did you wander?

Oooh! Ooh! After we heal our friend, we should totally jack the necromancer guy's stuff. He might have useful information, like a map or a letter with the bad guy's name on it.

Better yet, take is robes and hat if he has one. You totally earned it.
>>
No. 322073 ID: 6a5a08

Actually, the robes might be cursed, so we should have someone check them first.
>>
No. 322087 ID: 44766a

Am really doubting Chee is any kind of undead seeing as Chee can use healing magic and receive healing from others.
>>
No. 322088 ID: bd2a40

>>322073
How about we heal our friend, heal the robes(worth a shot) and then swipe it for the greater good of awesome?
