The post-show darkness envelops us. The fans are all scared away by the terrifying experience of seeing me unleash my fury. I drop to the floor, straight from the ceiling, and land with supernatural precision in the center of the squared circle. My hair is wild, my hunger fierce.

A single spotlight flashes a warning to all who would oppose me, for the briefest of moments before darkness takes us again.

I spirit Redcap away from the squared circle (Lucha spirit!) and take her with me into the night. Her eyes are hazy, but becoming clearer as my attention begins to wander. Can I convince her to do whatever I want, so long as I focus my vampire powers on her closely?

Pues… let us test this. She is a nice, new wrestler, full of hope and goodness. Let’s have her do something against her nature.

“Redcap,” I coo. “You will break into the most reputable butcher’s pen in this town using your wrestler’s strength. Knock down all doors between you and the cleanest, most salmonella-free and delicious meat here.”

“Hickory Dickory Meats… is the most… reputable and clean… butcher in the Indiana-Ohio-Kentucky tri-state area…” Redcap says. “They have… $3.99 cuts… every day. Fresh and delicious…”

“Hickory Dickory Meats!” I declare. “Fit for a vampire. Show me your strength, Redcap!”

Redcap leads me to the butcher’s shop ($3.99 cuts? What a bargain!) and uses all her might to knock the back door open, its metal hinges breaking with her forceful blows.

”Buena chica,” I say, giving her a pat on the arm. “Now stand watch while I drink deep.”

The carcass I find is fresh and full of blood, meant for cleaning and draining later. It’s almost as good as a real live goat- and now it is mine! I drink deep, and the freshly slain animal fills me with primal power. My senses sharpen, especially my sense of smell.

I can smell Dama Alta.

I can chase her down to where she has fled.

My heart beats for the HUNT! The thrill of the chase is upon me! My muscles tense, the pounding in my ears fills my thoughts, drowning out all else.

There is no way she expects me to be able to track her down so soon. If I bring Redcap, my own thrall, this will be a fight neither she nor her mistress could withstand. I have beaten the vampire giraffe once, and this time it will not even be close, now that I am full of power and her greatest weapon, her bite, is useless!

This power is intoxicating. I can go where I want, do what I want, take what I want!

I am filled with PRIMAL NEED after feasting. I must satisfy it! I can choose as many as I want. I am powerful enough to do more than one thing!
1. ROAR to terrify all who doubted my fighting spirit! I can make a SCARY PHONE CALL to someone I know, friend or foe!
2. MARK my territory! Redcap is mine; all should see it! Should I give her a collar?
3. CLAIM something I want from these stores nearby! There are animal pelts... yes, these will do nicely for adornment!
4. HUNT Dama Alta! Now is the time!

Or make the outfit one that makes you shadowy and mysterious on introduction but can be discarded / destroyed once you 'reveal' your new self.

Having drunk my fill of blood on such fresh animal blood, my senses are sharpened- including my memory. I recall the WAN’s corporate office phone number with complete clarity. Their hostile takeover of all-American businesses is a tragedy for all supporters of high-quality, rugged, reliable cars made in Ohio. Like Jeeps.

Beep. beep. I punch in the number, with a few surrepetitious extra digits, and put on my most sultry voice as a Japanese salaryman answers with a slight delay.

“Moshi moshi?” he asks, unaware of the doom he’s brought upon himself by picking up the phone.

“Yo soy una vieja amiga de Tsuki,” I say. “Can Tsuki come out to play?”

“Ano… she is on vacation. At the beach. I am not allowed to disturb her.”

“Aww, pobrecito. Are you Tsuki’s friend, too? If you put me through to her, I’ll invite you to play with us, too, handsome. I heard Japanese men really know how to please a woman. So much training…”

That does it. A few rings later and I’m speaking to a very familiar voice.

“Konnichiwa, Lucha Lady,” Tsuki says. “Did you really think you could try and trick me? You should know I don’t have any friends that speak Spanish. Kazama-san’s minions can trace this call, you know. Are you trying to scare me? After what you did to me in the name of your honor, give me one reason why I shouldn’t ask Kazama-san to send a dozen ninjas after you.”

“Porque,” I say, “I’m imagining you on the beach right now, doubtless in a swimsuit that shows off that figure you’re so proud of.”

“So? Everyone does that. And it’s a very nice swimsuit. Far better than a commoner like you could afford.”

“You’re right,” I say. “I couldn’t afford it. I’m so poor, I’ll have to steal something nice to wear. In fact, right now all I’m wearing is my mask… and nothing else.”

“N-nani!?”

“Así es. Just me, running my hands over my skin, imagining what it would be like for me to be next to you, doing the same. Listening to your heart beat, knowing you tried so hard to humiliate me on stage, knowing you’re powerless now that I’ve changed. Seeing the blood rush to your cheeks as you breathe faster, lying next to me, our eyes locked.”

“I-is this really you, Nacha?”

“I reach to cup your cheek, bring your lips to face mine…”

Tsuki lets out a soft breath.

“...and sink my teeth into your pretty little neck, puta rata.”

“Nante kotta!” Tsuki exclaims. “Y-you freak! Well, if you’re calling to mess with me, then you should know this island costs $12.99 a minute for long-distance, and you’re gonna get hit with a HUGE phone bill, insolent peasant!”

“Didn’t you hear?” I hiss. “I’ve changed. I’m a vampire now, and vampires drain their victims.”

I pause for effect.

“This is a collect call.”

Tsuki’s scream is music to my ears. She slams the receiver down far, far too late.

“Oh, Redcap?” I call out.

“Yes, mistress?” she answers immediately. Oh, I’ll never get tired of that. “What pleases you?”

“CLOTHES!” I snarl. “My defeated foe thinks I can’t get my paws on something WORTHY. Well, I will CLAIM what I want from this shopping establishment! Redcap, my minion, let us break into the fur store nearby!”

Redcap obediently commits herself to property damage in the name of showing Tsuki up. I follow her into the local fashion establishment, and my eyes settle on the only thing that will do.

The fur coat is wonderful. It drapes over my form, comforting me, cooling my primal drive, calming my animalistic side, letting me focus my thoughts. If I were to take it off, surely my suppressed instincts would flare up, like a smoldering conflagration after some fool lifts a fire blanket off it.

The fashionable fur store has several cuts of doeskin and delightful leathers. Clearly, they have been drawing from some prime sources, including cheetah. There are even real fox stoles and mink pelts. All so wondrously fluffy and a powerful statement for whoever wears them.

“What do you think, Redcap?” I ask her. I hold out a cut of leather. “You’re mine now, sweet one. You must also wear the skin of the weak, to remember their fate.”

“Yes, mistress.”

I coax her out of that gaudy, star-spattered two-piece of hers. So obedient.

“Good,” I say. “Now, for your collar.”

I find a solid piece, with a great buckle, difficult to undo. A fitting thing to CLAIM my thrall. Now I have a tall minion, just like Dama Alta. Redcap is seven feet and two inches- a foot shorter than Dama Alta. Even so, I feel a swell of pride knowing that I have a tall girl of my very own.

“This collar MARKS you,” I command her. “Even when you are far from my gaze, when my voice cannot reach your ears, whenever my powers might weaken, it binds you to me. Just like my mask, you will not remove it for anything or anyone. You are mine.”

“By this collar… I am yours. Just like your mask… I will never remove it.”

When we leave this store, she must wear something that is appropriately leather, fur or animal skin, like my fur coat and my doeskin outfit I’ll wear underneath once I fit it to me. Whatever the shop has, I can test it on Redcap, as well.

Once I saw her, I thought, that is her being naked, and that is when I got the idea. Why not make her wear something that emphasizes her body, going with the opposite of what she was previously wearing, like a reverse one-piece swimsuit. This costume shows the domination that Nacha has over Redcap, making her dress in something she would never dare to do, and going out looking like this would be for Nacha's pleasure. Maybe even change her name to Crimsoncap.

Do we want Redcap to become Lucha too? Or is that impossible given she was seen unmasked before this?

Spraking of fur coat robbery, did Lucha 'rob' a store while naked right after the WAN call?

I also wonder how OWO is handling suddenly having a pair of vampires in their roster/employ, or if Lucha is independent of them now.

Just use some tick body paint to cover up all her naughty parts. Make it red color and make it look like blood is coming out of her neck. That will show who she is to her vampire mistress.

After a little bit of constructive criticism, I adjusted the costume. So, making her body the face of her mistress. So if she ever gets lost, everyone knows who they should return her to.

Personally I'd not add spikes to her knees and around her talons. Those could legitimately hurt / impale someone during various wrestling maneuvers (especially any 'jump from the ropes' moves, kicks, and so on). Maybe replace with rounded studs, gothic symbols?

But also, I was thinking before their match between Dama Alta (and then later Trisha and Jimmy), we can have Redcap wear one of those falcon hoods to keep her vision blind until Nacha removes it to have Redcap hunt her targeted prey.

No, she isn't going to wear it 24/7. This is more to make for a good reveal of her spooky new mask, raise intimidation, make it show more that Redcap is Nacha's servant, and make for a good show to the audience. She won't wear it all the time, just only when Nacha and Redcap make their entrances. Being a heel means putting on a good presentation!

Now, how else should we decorate our new toy? It's an age-old "corrupted heroine" tradition to put her in something even more revealing than her regular outfit already was. Let's have fun showing off how pretty our pet is. All the other wrestlers will be jealous!

Ah, but if we have too much fun while she's under our control, the audience might never forgive us. We can't keep the wrestling world safe under our rule if they hate us too much to fear us. And Nacha's redemption arc wouldn't go over well with the audience if they don't see her resist temptation at least a little. But she's so tall and pretty, and so delightfully obedient, it would a shame to miss out on a chance to play when it's so much fun. Hmm...

The outfits this store has are wonderful. I find several that flatter Redcap’s long legs and slim figure. She teases my fangs with the amount of skin on display, but ultimately, she needs to wrestle in these clothes, too. She needs boots, not bare talons, lest someone stomp on them. I should take care of my playthings, not just show them off. These outfits are lovely, but I do not think that Redcap will keep them. The final outfit will come soon, after I enjoy a bit of a fashion show. I’m allowed a bit of fun. Just a bit.

As for a mask, that is another matter.

The mask is the essence of Lucha Libre. To earn one, Redcap would take on a new identity after being trained long and hard by a master… or mistress.

“You may yet earn a mask,” I say to Redcap, running my paw down her beak. “But you would need to give up everything of your old life. You would lose your name, your face, your very identity. The old you would disappear completely. You are not ready. Nor may you ever be. It is for me to decide when, or if, you come into my world.”

“I obey my Mistress,” Redcap says. I shake my head. No, for her to be a Luchadora, she would need to have principles of her own, other than being mine. Otherwise, she would lessen the grandeur of whatever mask she inherits. The mask of a thrall? No, not satisfying. But the mask of a full vampire, one I bite and turn to the darkness? Now that would be tempting. I could turn her now, and induct her fully into Lucha… Sí, that would honor tradictión.

All I would need to do is take one taste of her long, lithe body… I lean in close. It’s right to do this. It’s natural. She’s mine, after all. It’s my responsibility to induct her. I’m allowed to have just a bit more fun before she gets into the outfit I’ve chosen for her final attire.

Just a bit more…

What’s this?

A pair of college students is peeking through the door at the strewn clothes everywhere. They wander inside. One of them is clearly a student of fashion, her indignation in the messiness evident. In the darkness, they come across Redcap first, just barely finishing putting on her brand-new outfit.

“AAAAAHH!” they both shriek.

“How rude,” I call out, in my sultry voice so unlike that I’ve used before. “Aren’t college students supposed to be educated? It’s bad manners to walk in on people getting dressed.”

“If you don’t give everything back and clean up, we’ll… we’ll call for help from the strongest wrestlers we know!” the boy, Evan, declares with far more gusto than he should. “They’ll beat you up for harming small local businesses!”

“Yes!” Winnie nods, her snout bobbing like one of those ridiculous drinking birds. “We’ll call the ones who fight for justice. We’ll call Nacha!”

“Oh, this is rich,” I say, voice dropping low. “Nacha won’t be here to deliver justice, little ones. Nacha will, however… teach you a lesson about justice.

I turn around, and they see my broken-hearted mask. Winnie and Evan both shriek and turn to run, but Redcap blocks their exit.

“Justice is, first and foremost, slow,” I say, stepping toward them step by step, fur coat dragging over the floor. “Justice cleans up after the mess has been made. If you really want to change the world, you have to get ahead of the evil ones. You have to pick up their scent. You have to hunt them down. And you have to strike hard. Fast. And without mercy. Otherwise, you’ll end up like Marv… a retired, broken old man full of regrets that he didn’t do more when he had the strength of youth.”

Evan and Winne look up at me, terrified, realizing they’re not on a happy episode of OWO broadcast.

They’re a couple of hapless sweethearts in an encore of Blood Hunt, now in theaters.

What do I do with my victims?
1. Drink their blood! Their blood will invigorate me in tonight’s fight with Dama Alta and her mistress, and guarantee victory!
2. Put them under my spell! I can enthrall them with subconscious commands
3. Scare the daylights out of them! They should be grateful I do not do worse. They should respect and fear me equally!

Drink their blood! The blood of virgins is extra powerful.

What if the falcon hood is like a fake blindfd? As in, it looks like it blinds her for a casual observer, but she can see through it partially, like with various cosplay suits.

This would give the illusion of having supernatural senses and 'immunize' her to visual effects without severly hampering her combat skill. And removing the cowl lets her unleash her full power.

4. Time to test Redcap’s loyalty. Have her scare and knock them out cold with an attack. Your servant needs to be willing to show her bravery and fight for justice… Your justice! Even if they seem scared like these two.

You can enjoy their blood after with 1.

These two are knowledgable in fashion, we can use that!

So, spare drinking their blood (unless one of them gets uppity).

We also don't need to mimic the methods of the vampires who sired you and use enthrallment, unless we plan on broadening their minds on the ways of vampiric fashion.

So the best option would be to terrify them into obeying us and doing our fashion bidding.

In short, we use 2 or 3 to achieve 4: having the fashion students improve upon and optimize our outfits until they're Bloody & Brawly Burlesques.

They can also tell us where the other vampires get / steal their threads from, to track down their lair. Like a certain giraffe nurse.

But leave them with a token to mark them as our thralls, and a few lingering suggestions to go with them: they will go to Nacha and Redcap's next wrestling match, and when they hear a certain trigger, they will remember their purpose and aid her against her enemy. Just as we said, to fight the forces of evil we need to be a step ahead of them, and if we're going to play the heel, we're playing to win.
