This is good for interpersonal drama as terrified Tina wants to get the hell out of here, while Britany wants an explanation of where Kevin is.

I was initially thinking something partway between possession by vengeful spirit and a form of skinwalker.
the original true form first shown above looked great, and could return when it sheds the taken victim. But the wearing of victims allows us to make use of paranoia among survivors and give some actors a chance to play both monster and victim.
A cool thing they could discover could be that the monster casts its true shadow whatever form it is in. Like the shadowy horns shown above when the torchlight reached kevin.
Can the posession be reversed? Dont know which way we should pivot on that.

Cast and crew are doing a good job so far, but i still hope we get a blooper reel for the cresits or private viewing.

Britany is the closer target, sadly… does she escape? Is the monster vulnerable to crosses? Only one what to find out!

Could the crosses be protecting her? Better go for the top instead! Might even unhook the bra beneath by coincidence!

Britany trips and falls into a bush.

The good news is that now, she is hidden! everything is quiet, she can catch her breath.

The bad news is that this bush is full of thorns that is latching onto parts of her clothing. If she makes any sudden movements, it could risk damaging her clothing more.

Unfortunately, her relief is short lived, as she can hear Tina screaming for her help, as the monster has caught her. Does Britany stay hidden and keep her life (and clothing) safe?

Sadly, we gotta have slash slash in a blood hunt scary film.

What about a classic shadow-silhouette showing a beast devouring its prey?

Suddenly, something lands on Brittany's head and tumbles in front of her. As she tries to process what just happened, she realizes... it's Tina!

Somewhat relieved, She whispers to Tina asking if she's alright and where the monster is... but no response.

Then, her eyes go wide as she realizes she wasn't talking to Tina...

she was talking to Tina's decapitated head that just so happened to land right in front of her as the camera zooms out to that reveal!

Other body parts of Tina's land near the bush Brittany in too, such as her arms, tail, legs, even her boobs. Brittany has to try to not scream during her hyperventilation. to not draw the killer to her location to find her, Can she do that?

Gotta make the first kill extra gory! The monster could skip stripping her entirely and simply deglove her from the neck down! Then impale her while she's still alive on a Conveniently Shaped Tree Branch of Impalement like a hunting trophy! Tina's terrified face would make a real memorably haunting frame to put the title card drop transition!

The BLOOD HUNT begins! Could even match cut blood drops to pouring a nice, cool, and refreshing can of chickadee Red Soda. If somebody drinks a can whenever somebody dies, and it foreshadows a fakeout death when nobody drinks a can, then people will talk about the sponsors forever.

hmm true, gotta do something for the gore hounds.

here's a neat effect that shouldn't go over budget:
creature lifts Tina, pierces her abdomen with, I'm going to say, a proboscis. Tina's insides are liquified and sucked out, leaving an empty skin.

This can be fairly easily accomplished by making a rubber Tina and deflating it. shooting at night, it ought to be obscured enough to seem real.

Tina catches her breath, only to see a towering shadow upon the ground her bare front is plastered over.

The Slasher immediately stomps her foot with their immense weight, causing her femur to disintegrate as her leg becomes a bloody stump.

With the girl as good as dead, the Slasher unleashes their true supernatural powers (powered by blood, which Tina is gushing out of her stump), sprinting at a dead run towards Brittany, who puts up quite a run for prey; the adrenaline awakens something valuable inside her, the speed of an athlete that could, with time and practice, make her an Olympics athlete.

It's not enough. The Slasher's superior motivity could outrun the world record sprinter by fifty percent. It tackles her and continues running, and Brittany has a few seconds to scream, not towards the Slasher, but towards the giant boulder. There is a discretion shot from the other side of the boulder as we see a wave of Brittany's blood splatter in a halo explosion, coating half the boulder in pure crimson while the other half is sorely un-spooged.

The Slasher calmly walks towards Tina, who is dead by blood loss. It grapples her by the throat and jams barbs into her skull. Tina is a zombie, and has just enough sentience remaining to writhe and scream like a captured animal, the Slasher walking into the forest with his...

raw materials.

The sponsers will love the screen time and its a nice scene transition, additionally it also gives that fakeout opportunity.
The pouring blood cutting to the pouring red.
The actor takes a long, satisfying sip.
Then on the one fakeout kill, the drinker is distracted before taking their sip.

The only point to drop it would be the crescendo of the movie where scene transitions give way to unrelenting attacks on whovere is still standing.

I have an idea for a twisted ending to this B-movie, where the surviving teenagers are saved by an alien (half-human) hunter who gleefully butchers the monster and drinks its blood, all to the tune of boomer shooter punk rock. And then offers the teens another six-pack of Chickadee Red. As the teenagers are celebrating their new hero while driving back to their homes, they find out the whole city is burning... and they turn to the alien, who has a twisted grin on his face. Their 'hero' went on a rampage, killing most of the residents and laying waste to the background. And he's only one of the scouts, giving him a license to do whatever-the-fuck-he-wants (kill entire towns and save a few kids at the same time), as the rest of the invading force is beginning to touch down. The Butcher grins at his new... minions. Or would they prefer to be meat?

If the cabin has a shower, you could shake up a frosty can of Chickadee Red Soda and offer it to Brett! He'll get all sticky and you can swipe his clothes while he cleans off. Then he'll have to run around in a towel!

We can use the Chickadee red as blood!

one of them can go to the kitchen, pretend they are cutting something, and then pretend to lose a body part like a finger, or accidentally stab themselves somehow, and then pour where the wound would be with chickadee red to make it look like they're spilling out blood!


this of course could lead to a setup where the monster could actually somehow injure the person doing the prank, so that when they're actually injured, the others will think they're pranking.
