Hmmm... fuck it. I open the door. The guy behind the door sways back on one foot, taken off guard. "Excuse me, sir. I'm afraid that there's been a murder here. Are you the owner of this establishment?"
"El infierno sÃ, yo soy el dios maldito manager! ¿Y qué diablos quiere decir que está muerta? Keep it down, vamos a entrar y hablar de esto. Palabra de esta matarÃa negocio!" (Indeed sir I am the owner! Dear lord, dead? Please, I should get out of the street to discuss such business. It's disgraceful to her memory.) The Ludicolo says, coming in out of the street.
"Look, I'm a private investigator. Word of an incident like this is never good. I'll find the guys that did this, you pay me." I say, laying it out nice and straight. "Not sure if you know how the police are nowadays, but I don't think you'd want them coming around if you could avoid it."
The guy thinks about it for a long minute. "SÃ. Supongo que te contrato a pesar de que parezca un accidente de tren. Ahora, vamos a ver si puedo encontrar una bolsa de basura para que el cuerpo." (Yes I'll hire you, you have a forthright manner about you. Now, let's see if we can move the poor girl to a grave.) He says, and bustles away towards the back room.
"So... what happened, boss?" Jez asks skeptically.
"We're hired. How about that, eh?" I ask, allowing a moment's cockiness.
"Great work boss! Now I can get paid proper! So, what do you think we should go and do first?" She asks, giddy to be with a job.
