"Listen up, scrubs! This ship is literally worth more than our lives; it contains the macguffins needed to save our families and keep them stuffed for life. I would love to put us all into stasis and let the drones fix everything instead of backstabbing each other, but enough equipment has been damaged that we have to participate in the repairs and maintenance of both the ship and its cargo, even if it gets us killed haphazardly. Remember, the expensive if faulty respawn machine at home means that killing each other off to stop the saboteur is a valid tactic, but only if we keep our quantum identity patterns intact in the ship's data vaults. If this ship dies, we all die, for good. So go ye heroes, go and die, and hopefully we'll all have a good laugh about this when we're alive and rich on the planet-side.
Okay, this should be easy enough. We'll start in teams of three, with one member completing a task while the other two keep watch over the whole group; generally rotate your tasks, but do the ones nearest or most important first. If one of you dies or a task takes more than twenty seconds to complete, call a meeting and we'll sort this out.
For now, I'm going to choose two doods at random (counter-clockwise from the position at the table, one at a time). You and you, come with me. You, you, and you, go that way. If we absolutely need to split up and finish tasks even faster, I'll set up an emergency meeting and we can pick randomly again."
Of course, you're not going to tell them that if ''any'' team member dies and the other two blame each other, you WILL vote both of them off. Or that the respawn machine is little more than a nebulous, possibly non-canon rumor.
