i have no idea what to feel right now, he even helps me back up on my paws, i have never had anyone of a higher status praise me like that before, let alone be so gentle and kind.

"I am Vilmar Zumric, but you will adress me as 'Lord'" Nodding a bit in response i try to hold still as he pulls up my sleeve and inspects my arm, probably checking my strength. It is not uncommon to inspect your workforce like that, but this guy is making me feel rather flustered.

Oh dear, this could actually determine my entire future career, don't know what to say, i am very talented in playing music but i have also a hell of a knack of magitech, being able to fix anything i have encountered so far.

I think maintenance plays best to your strengths. I feel like you'd have to take a really indirect tactic for extermination, and marketing - well, if you use runes as a crutch for your music, that's a bit troublesome to work with. Delivery you wouldn't have a clear use for your magic, and you'd be very susceptible to getting (worse, possibly fatal) iron poisoning from another enforcer.

Maintainence will allow us maximum time to goof off without being observed, I think.

Maintenance or marketing sounds safe enough, you can play a cute little diddy to sell wares.

And with that he leaves in a hurry, stepping through a shimmering gate as the others sigh in relief and start to walk away. I am concerned at what Lord Zumeric figured out, if it was dangerous for me he would probably have become super reassuring instead of secretive.

My pondering is interupted by the Pawree who stood closest to me, they still look all bewildered from the earlier scene.

Green crocodile chick: "He.. he fucks Pawree!" she seems very flustered while the snake like girl seems to be struggling with mental images as she is hiding her eyes in her ears.

Orange horse guy: "That might not be true, maybe he just needed to know for sure he was a guy!" He seems to try to reason with the croc to calm her hysteria

Green crocodile chick: "Wouldn't he just have asked them!" She flails her arms. "If he fucks Pawree then it is acceptable to do so in this district, i didn't go through medical training to end up in some rainbow fucker's bed!"

The orange guy idly scratches his muzzle and sighs at the conundrum while the greaser seems to be listening to the the 'nerd' whispering to him who as they look at the snake, poor girl seems to be too innocent to handle the thoughts of cross species intercourse, only getting worse as she hears the croc's hysteric outburst.

what should i do?

If you're selecting a weapon, I'd recommend a spear or other light polearm. You don't have to be strong to use it, it can reach deep inside a larger creature to kill it quickly, and smaller creatures can be kept at a distance with it and killed without risk to yourself. And that's only if they won't let you have a gun or crossbow, or if ammo is in short supply.
