That table overlaps the space where the oven was. A thief wouldn't really have had reason to do that. That suggests the stove was removed while someone was still living here.

Do you have electricity? Water? Heat? Utilities bills might have lapsed since your mother passed. You might need to make some calls if anything has been turned off.

Well. When I started high school I lost most of the friend I did have, but eventually I made friends with Meg. She was on the track team and she wanted to be some kind of scientist. The kind that studied bugs, I think? She was really the only person I hung out with after middle school.

I liked to think we were good friends, but as we got older we drifted apart. She was a lot smarter then me and I don't really think her friends liked me that much. I don't really know what it was, but by graduation she seemed kind of sick of me.
I didn't talk to anyone about moving away after graduation. That included her, I guess.
