While Marud tries to come up for a respond to.. that, lets take a look at her stats and abilities, shall we?
Seems like Marud is a bug-like entity of some sort, nothing broken or seemingly missing (SHELLS: 9 ) with pretty respectable agility (SPEED: ABOVE AVERAGE ), pretty wimpy physical strength (POWER: LOW ), some incredibly weak endurance (DEFENSE: ALMOST NONEXISTANT), fair magical abilities (SPECIAL: AVERAGE ) and a surprisingly high willpower ( WILL: HIGH ; they specialize in poisonous abilities ( ELEMENT: POISON ).
Not as bad as it could be, those defenses are bad enough that Marud doesn't have a standard system of health, instead they posses SHELLS; a number of attacks they can take before dying but an attack can only take 1 SHELL at a time, no matter the intensity, with only continuous or long lasting attacks able to take more then one SHELL in a single attack.
When a SHELL is broken, Marud's body breaks apart, reforming after a few seconds; during this period they cannot attack but in turn cannot be hurt, allowing for survival in longer fights. SHELLS cannot be restored quickly, as they replenish over time; only a few rare abilities can bypass this limit.
SHELLS also posses another ability: the fewer Marud posses, the higher some of her stats get while some lower.
With her stats, Marud could easily run circles around Ebra, run past him or just go back the way they came... thou their SEVERE LONELINESS makes them want to stay and chat with the creature for a bit.
What should they do?
