I think that bandits and hostile humans will not be a problem, this place is engulfed in sandstorms, i only managed to get through thanks to my wyvern leather coat. but i might find some monsters if the legend is true.

The sandstorm calmed down a little, it's my chance to go!
or should i way for early in the morning?

>Get inside there and set up a base
My way in the inner garden of the ruins was surprisingly easy, the monster must be asleep.
the godess of luck must be at my side.

so the first floor of the babel tower is a big round inner garden, the entrance to the tower must be the giant pillar in the middle. Scatered around the plazza there is some plants, and the remains of a skeleton(it's kinda spooky).
>>
No. 628218 ID: d3be40

Check the status of the plants.

Search the corpse and move on. Be on the lookout for a good spot to set up a base.

In the hands of the skeleton i find a small piece of stone with a red jewel on it, it may be important so i will keep it on my Inventory

I try to grab the fruit on the plant but the moment i get close to it it burrows to the ground. I have never seen a plant that do this before.
>>
No. 628224 ID: d3be40

Well, some plants, like the venus flytrap, have muscle memory for reacting to specific phenomena. The plant could be dumber than a sack of bricks, but optimized to sense movement and react by pulling itself underground, only to re-emerge when its nutrient supplies are low. Think of it as a trap mechanism: it cannot realize who you are, but it does something when conditions are met.

If you're hungry, try experimenting with various plants to see what they won't react to. Sneak, use long sticks, arrows, fire, dirt, etc.

Venus flyTRAP?!? GAH!

Shortly after the fruit entered the soil, a buzzing sound started and out of the sand a drill monster emerged, but its aim was not very good, so it hit the pillar right behind it, the damn monster has the strenght to break rock!

i came to a conclusion... i must get out of this floor quickly!

yeah, the smaller pillars seem to have writing or pictograms. of course, since it is babel, it could be n the first language before the sundering.

I might even be convinced to return you to the sand, where you can breathe, if you can assure me you're not going to attack me again on the way out.

You destroyed the pillar and the door in your haste to destroy me. I destroyed nothing.

And you have little choice but to trust me unless you wish to suffocate. Hold still.

Then go to pick it up from behind so you can throw it back. Back off if it tries to drill again.

So the place is haunted by fanatical ghosts, murderous angels and/or a homicidal god enforcing strict rules nobody else knows. Rule learned: avoid talking about the Fruit and who did or didn't eat it.

Earlier you mentioned a godess of luck, as in multiple gods, while this guy refers to god singular. Is the god associated with the tower one of the ones you recognize, and what do you know of them?
