This is excellent. Smash the tippy tip of the tippy tip off to grip in your tiny kobold paws then look around the cavern. Maybe there is a piece of flint or something to make a little spear? Outside? Oh, goodness, no. You will never set foot outside of this cave. It is your home! Your safety, your shelter... it is your life!
The old timers tell tales of the outside world... Humans with muscles twice the size of their heads, armed with magic swords and metal feet... Their mounts are half as small but twice as vicious with razor sharp fangs and claws that can tear clean through a kobolds hide with no problem!
And-- and They even have flowers that grow forever, sustained only by WATER of all things! They say those flowers stretch off endlessly into the sky, beyond a thick white veil, and into infinity...
Imagine, a never ending sky. Without a roof! You nearly hurl at the thought of it...

Thankfully, everything you could ever need is right here at home. You grab your Club of SpearLancing in both arms and hop your way around the corner in search of prey. These humans were the closest anyone's ever made it to your tribe's cavern. Anyone who tries to get this close to you or your tribesmen are obviously bad news. Good thing this cave is full of traps!

Could she get through those traps to search the far end of the cavern? Maybe there are some mushrooms or edible moss to eat. On your way try to pilfer the corpses for spare chump change or a dagger or at least a loincloth. You may be a kobold but thats no excuse for her to be indecent!

Who built those traps? Is your tribe in service to a Dungeon Master?

why do they have no clothes?

Are dead humans eatable? Or rather, are they fresh enough that you'd want to eat them?

Do we need to reset the traps so the next batch of humans don't just walk around them?

Yuck! Human meat? You turning into some kind of red-scaled savage?? No, your tribe would never allow the consumption of HUMAN! It's unhealthy, unappetizing, and it's just generally awful in every sense. It probably causes cancer, too.
As for their stuff, the other kobolds took it all days ago while you overslept again. They made a point of rubbing your nose in it, but you don't mind. They're only toys after all. And look! You still get a kickass boot!

Kobolds are supposed to be the trap MASTERS. However I doubt you should stray from your goal of catching food. Maybe lift a bear trap from the trap hall and go catch giant beetles or somesuch? A kobold with a goal is a kobold who wont get herself eaten by a lizard.

You equip your boot and decide to mess with the funnest looking trap. Despite your attempts to rouse the menacing beast, it does not respond to your pwonks and pwanks or your pushes and shoves. Before you enter the deeper depths of the cave, you pick up a bear trap that was cleverly hidden behind the spikes. This will be useful for obtaining MEAT!
Now you walk to the opening at the end of the corridor. The moment you step through this door, it will mark the farthest you've ever been away from home... You wipe away a little kobold tear, too tiny to see, as you slowly approach the opening ahead.

Take the grey thing off the ground and poke it into one of the holes making sure not to stand too close to the hole.

Luckily for you, you weren't too tuckered out to pull something like that off. The beast's.... appendages? Pseudopods? They make a satisfying crunch as the weight of the chest lid crushes them! The creature skreeches and thrashes about on the outside, and its sporadic motions cause the chest to move and shake. The chest is definitely being dragged with the random thrashing.

Well, time to rest. And/or eat. Not much else you can do until the monster settles down out there.
