Waaait a second. First off-what ARE these purple bar things? Can we do some scanning magic on them to figure out what they are?

Try a scrying spell, now that you have control. Sense the location of Vicki and the others. I really don't think the Baron would send you right in the middle of your allies while they were disguised as enemies. He's trying to help us, remember?
