The Push started today! Since this peninsula was so small, only two Combatants were sent at it. We got torn up fast, I can count the guys who got three feet out of the water on one hand.

Hrrm, that you're apparently slimes makes me wonder about the viability of sort of 'hiding' in the goop of your teammates and then sneaking around to behind the towers so that it's not an obvious suicide mission. Then again, unless you guys have something else you can hit/do, I'd advise you to pray, and then go for it.

Your buddies' running up and planting an explosive plan has it's problems, though. How exactly is anyone supposed to make it up out of this hole, let alone close the distance, without getting filled full of holes?

alright the best I can come up with is have rocket slime there take out the tower on the left while everyone else puts some covering fire on the right tower so you can move up. then you can come up from the left and throw your charge at it.

The only other plan I got is to pray like a dickens to whatever god you pray to for a miracle... or do both really couldn't hurt.

pulling your whole squad out of cover sounds like a slightly better plan then having them stand around holding neon signs that say shoot me, but not by much.

Have them stay in cover and for the love of god keep they're fight up. You're not out of the woods till that second tower is gone.

Unfortunately I am. Journeymen Corps weapons burst when the user dies, remember? The only ones in the Combatant with foreign guns were me and Mike, and his rifle's right across the tower's fire.

After all that, our gear comes down to Terone's chatter gun and the rifle from Mike. All five of the towers have been busted by rockets or pack charges, so there's not much chance of anything intact being in them. There might be some extra gear in our transport somewhere, but it might be hard to find--Text always packed things by the book, which means nothing will be in the most reasonable spot for it.

Xavier's a great shot with rockets and Terone's the luckiest guy in the Combatant, that's about it. If having hard Centers counts as a skill, we've all got that--even Dan will shut up and get shit done when things are down to the wire.

Our briefing seems to have been right on the terrain. It's standard Laynen surroundings, mostly flatlands and a couple hills in the far distance. There's that town a ways up north, most likely occupied and aware of our presence here.

My suggestion is to head towards the town and find someplace to hide till nightfall. Once you've done that try to sneak into town and find a radio or something to call back home with to let them know your alive and what we can expect in the way of help. Hell even just an objective would be nice because the only thing we know of what you had to do was take the beach, after that we (as in the voices) don't know shit about shit. and if they want you to hold the beach then fuck that since there is no way only four guys can hold an entire beachhead with only two guns between them. You could do some gorilla warfare maybe but that's about it.

A map? It's disproportionate as fuck but it's got some important landmarks on it. West of the town is a forest, to the south-west and south-east looks like farming fields. Where should we try to find a hiding place?

woods would be a fucking wonderful place to hide but with that thing in front of it I'm not to sure it would be a good idea. The town I want to avoid until night soooo... Think the cliffs would be a good spot to hide? I mean if they're not just a smooth drop they're would be plenty of hiding spots for your little group to wait till nightfall. Not to sure how good a climbing you guys are but yeah if all else fails you could just walk back around and get into town that way.
