Ok, what can you do with the Holy Power, and what could someone theoretically do with the Holy Power?
You're terrible at magic, and said you barely had the power to complete this gem you're using to talk to us.
Is it just a matter of juice-you're always running out mid-spell or something? Or is it more that you just can't control it that well period?
And do you have any other notable talents/ equipment on your person? It'd be nice to know what we've got to work with-generally, our advice is our gift. If we have other powers...We're going to need to discover them over time, unfortunately.

Well the order has had a lot of disappearances in our history. The most recent was my father, but that was years ago. And the others were.. basically every other order member I know of.
I haven't really been training. I mean if you ask me to speak a simple color changing incantation, I can do it, but I don't know much else, honestly. And I wasn't really chosen, I'm more of.. The only choice. I know of nobody else from the order that lived other than my brother and I. So it's my responsibility.

Well I know about.. three words, counting 'spirit' which I used to summon you. I can change the color of almost any object I wish, but I don't think that's very useful. What someone CAN do with the power is amazing, back at the temple I witnessed things from men summoning flames to do their bidding, to moving objects without touching them, and much more! It all depends on what words you combine. I just can't preform many spells because I don't know the words, I suppose.

Color changing might be a simple power, but it's one of the simpler pieces towards making wonderful disguises.

Also at times we might be blasphemous, we aren't just a single spirit, we are hundreds to thousands of spirits conjoined together at once. Many thoughts and voices speak together in a chaotic union, many of which aren't always agreeing. So we might have some stranger thoughts pop in from time to time.

problem, those you say are heretics could be devout followers but simply misinterpreted a law. and so things got out of hand. and they called for a crusade to get rid of what they perceived as heresy. one of the things your white order did was properly teach the word, but they did not have that.

You might not be suited to be a heiress of OWL, but your skillset I think to be fairly good for this-You can survive in the wilderness, you can camouflage yourself, and you're currently anonymous. That could work out in our favor actually... So, how precisely can you do the color change thing? Because if you can blend into your surroundings, you can hide very well.

If you can do fine color manipulation over a small area, and not just a blanket effect, that gives you unlimited ability to edit any written document you want. To forge paper currency, or change it's value. To reproduce any work of art. Or to create any image you've seen or have imagined on any surface.

Also, you can probably use that power to blind anyone who tries to attack you. All you have to do is make their pupils opaque.

Oh, you could also use color-changing to camouflage yourself.
