You try pressing the soft reset button on your controller. It seems to have no effect whatsoever. You look down at the controller...All the lights on it are off. You think the batteries might be dead.
You quickly pull out your phone. A quick scan of the Game Manual reveals a Truecorp Tech Support number. You dial it as quickly as you can. The tendrils continue to warp and wave about in an unsettling way.
The phone rings...
It rings again...
It rings once more...
And finally someone picks up the line.
"Hello, You've reached Truecorp Tech support" a female voice exclaims cheerily
"Uh, hey I seem to be having a problem with..."You begin,
"This is an automated message. If you are having problems with an appliance press 1, if you are having problems with an automobile press 2, if you are having trouble with a food product press 3, if you are having a problem with a drink product press 4, if you are having problems with commercial software press 5, if you are having any problems with computer hardware press 6, If you are having problems with a console press 7, if you are having problems with our tech support system press 8, if you would like to chat with our suicide help line press 9, if you would like to talk to an actual employee press 1 and 5 at the same time. If you are here to shout loudly please hang up, you have the wrong number.
You stand with your mouth agape, you barely understood a word of that. So many numbers...you aren't sure what to press.
