Yuno, youngest sibling of the Kanenshin family. Poisoned, arms bound, and hung from the jasper trees as if a decorament. It is the second aging of the emperor Dokuga during the Jakikigen era of Dinmar. This is a time of much strife and rebellion towards the Dokugan reign. The citizenry raise arms against the tyrannical leadership of the evil magician Dokuga.

But, this at the moment is of not import. You have a single martial weapon with which to free yourself from your restraints, but what martial weapon and where you held it you cannot remember.

My urumi, the blade made of thin curved steel, wielded much like a whip. I wear it as a belt, and my captors did not think it was a weapon at all.

From the many things Yuno keeps with him, his only weapon left on his person was his urumi, a family heirloom. Severing his hand restraints he reaches for the butter knife which he had in his pouch. Cutting himself free from the noose that he hung upon the tree with he collapses to the ground taking in as much amazingly delicious air he can keep in his lungs.

There is not much that Yuno knows to do with himself at this moment. The kanenshin family all but himself deceased in combat. Revenge would be ill due to not having any brothers to aid in such a large fight. The poisen is slowly losing taste, but still weakening Yuno's strength. In a horrible state of health, no not a thing that yuno can think of to do- accept but to go... to go somewhere from here. It need not be far, but it must not be here.

To the south is the Aki river, it cascades over many a rapids. To the northwest is the empire city state, filled with enemies around each corner. If yuno decided to head easterly the next form of people would not be but past the long and barren sandy wastelands of Regoba.

Yuno deems it is time to leave, but to where?

We're in ill health and underpowered? We need to go away to recover/have a training montage. Go down the rapids. If you think you'll heal quickly and your strength is sufficient now, though, my suggestion is to hide in plain sight among the people of the city, gather information, and plan your strike carefully.

River seems a good place. Fresh water, a source of food, and possibly of travel. It's a place you can hide and regain your strength in for a while. You don't seem up to immediately crossing a a barren waste, or dealing with enemies around every corner right now.

Yuno does his best to shamble towards the river, by the time he reaches it's shores he is exhausted. Tonight he will rest off his wounds- but in the morning a rigorous training he will commence. Not knowing how to accentuate his personal regiment to better help fight an army by himself he does not worry til the morning.

As he sleeps the ghosts of his relatives tell to him what his routine should consist of. These five things will help make him a warrior of legend.

What are these five things?

"You shall meditate on the four elements. Time is short so you shall do this in the following way: First find a large stone that is flat on the top and bottom. Then you shall start a small but long burning fire on top of it. You will swim in the river with the rock on your back and with the fire burning on the rock. Do not let the fire go out! The fire will heat the rock so you must find a balance between the cool, quenching water and the warm life giving air."

1)Training- you must train yourself to master your weapon, strengthen your body and your mind. NO ONE has become a warrier of legend who did not know how to fight.

2)Variety- Learn to use other weapons as well, for there may be times were you might not have the weapon of your choice at hand. And learn not just to fight with steal and fist but with words too, for there are many more kinds of battles then just between swords and sheilds were at times haveing a silver touge would be more effective then either.

3)Fearless- To be a true warrior you must not let fear control you, for if you give in to fear then you have already lost.

4)Caution- Well to be fearless is good don't be a fool. Chose when to fight and when not to, for no warrior became great by dieing in a pointless fight that could have been avoided.

5)Allies- No one warrior has ever defeated armies or nations by themself, they had friends and allies to call upon. Make allies were you can and help them with all of your worth and they will do the same for you, because if you surround yourself with only enemies they will overwhelm you

1. There is no right or wrong only what you decide is best.
2.Sleep whenever safe, your enemies will not respect your needs.
3.Respect your foes. They are human as you are, they can be poisoned and hung just like you.
4.Survival is the greatest revenge you can take.
5.Get more masks.

I KNEW I saved the Gospel of MW for a reason.

1. The World Is Your Highway. Bow to no man.

2. You Can Only Be Stopped by 40 Megatons. Know when you're beaten.

3. Some Pasty-Faced Paper Chase Guy will catch you on an Off Day. Learn to lose graciously, while still trying your all every moment.

4. Destroy the Opposition. You're a nuclear-powered truck, powered by joy and carried along by an unquenchable desire to conquer! Your
power is keeping on. So Keep On.

5. Run Over That Stupid Squeaky Motorcycle. Don't be afraid to teach people what they need to know, the sacred message of Megaweapon. And if you're annoying, Megaweapon will crush you, and you must embrace the crushing.

Meditate upon the power of the elements.

Earth: Balance and stability. You will have patience, the ability to dedicate yourself to tasks that need a long-term commitment.
Fire: Impulse, aggression, energy and movement, beauty and passion. In a moment, you can spring into action and strike awe into the hearts of both allies and foes.
Metal: Discipline, rigidity, and perfection. You will cut through any obstacle. You will endure any pain.
Water: Serenity, passivity, motion away (rather than fire's motion towards) and awareness. Passion will not weaken you, and you will know when to disengage, when to look for a hidden truth.
Wood: Growth and health, both of people and ideas. Your strengths will grow with time, and you can see the potential in others, nurture it to make sure they blossom into something greater.

With these principles in mind, you will become mighty in both magic and war. All elements grant you strength, and their balance leaves you without significant weaknesses.

Air just isn't one of the five elements. *shrug* You'll have to file your complaint with a bunch of dead Chinese philosophers. (Or switch to the Japanese set, which does include air).
