I think the man's okay for the most part. After all, to become a lich you have to be smart and knowledgeable about magic and the like. So, be polite, try to be less afraid and lead him to the cave with the heart beat noise. But whatever you do, do NOT mention us. Even if we're not advisory spirits or whatever, we might be interesting enough (or maybe not, I'm not sure) for in-depth study, a kobold with voices in it's head that provide advice and knowledge, some of which may or may not know or has forgotten. You could ask for help getting back to your place in the caverns, but theoretically you could do that yourself with enough pick-work. Social connections with powerful beings are much harder to come by.

Let us wish for power. Mostly the power to live stronger and not die so easily. No need to be more particular, other than we want not to be turned into something we aren't already like an ugly monster or sorta-living bones. We rather like our koboldy self, thank you very much.
