I miss Wobblers. Big pudgy-rounds they were, and walking on two legs? It was never a wonder why they wobbled form side to side! 'Course they would never talk to us, got sore over being made to do work.

'Course that was 4 spins ago, been wandering around the dunes since then.

They're fun to slide on! Sometimes I even find a rock with a retkin nest, haven't figured how they survive yet, no water for days around.

I am getting so good at this I don't even trip anymore!

But I've just touched the bottom. This is what Wobblers and Shorts must feel like. I feel thick gritty not-sand under my feet. Takes a bit of force, but I think I can dig at it.

Wobblers brought us all our food, they kept our domes clean and fresh, even sent messages from Tall to Tall with this series of mirrors and lights. Wobblers live a good life under a Tall, but only a Tall who can afford to keep them well could have them.

The Domicile was almost two Wobblers to every Tall. Used to be rumors that the Revere kept females Wobblers in his dome....

Nice tunnel here. There were big waterways here before, sewers I guess. They ran the water from the Domicile down to here and out to the swamps.
