Hello, tgchan. :] I've decided I will be housing ARIB here from now on. Now, this IS now 4 parts long, but it's not the length you'd expect of such... the first 3 parts are quite short, because I had limited time for questing and was hosting on /tg/. I think the reading required to jump in is equivalent to reading less than 1 quest thread here! (I will adapt, by the way, now that I will no longer fear deletion!)

Anyway, for those of you who have just joined, here are the links to the archives.
PART 1: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/20324638/
PART 2: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/20380540/
PART 3: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/20392546/

SUMMARY:
Lesbians in the dark and profuse bleeding highlight the beginnings of this quest. (Loosely quoted from the archive summary, haha.) Also, an escape the room scenario and a mystery are contained within.

Tulip appears to have hidden the mirror.
She says that she wishes to remain here, because she is scared. She will catch up once she is comfortable enough to do so. Sorry.

Okay, let's check out the very nearest room for now.

Ask her if she wants a hug first.

I don't know if it's safe to leave a little kid alone when there's monsters in the pipes. Give her some space though. Speaking of the tube thing, try the last lever.

(Thank you for participating! 8D Also, as the first suggestion would require us to leave the room, I'll be taking the second one for now. I hope this is acceptable.)

You toggle the leftmost lever, and after a few spotty moments, the light above you switches on.

(Since this is so close to the beginning of the thread and I forgot it in the opening post, here is a link to the discussion thread for ARIB.

(Artist error, by the way. The finger bits did not just disappear. Here is the revised room!)

Let's not mess with the levers anymore. Leave the horrible pit monster corpse alone down there.

Leave the light on and let's jet.

Stick your hand in the light. See if you start feeling nausea again.

Rose leaves her hand under the light for a few moments, curious... and sure enough, while she doesn't feel any nausea from the action, she does feel a slow heat growing in her veins.
She's not sure if she should continue doing this.

Pull your hand out. See if you look any different in the mirror, and then try catching some of the LIGHT with the mirror, see if some light appears in the room, and if it is the same kind of light or weird.

Rose considers this, but when she looks up, she sees a peculiar fish painted on the wall in front of her.
A red herring.

You leave the mess alone and descend the NORTHWEST ladder to the next room, leaving Tulip be.
It's pretty barren here. There is one exit, and it is to the SOUTH.

Type some numbers into that calculator-lookin' electronic door lock so we can determine how many bits of entropy it has.

Yeaaaah, 'nother quest for me to catch up on.

You get a closer look at the framed picture.

Rose was never fond of equations. She does, however, walk up to the door and mash the keys a number of times. After four random digits have been entered, the door projects an error noise.
There are no 0's on the keypad, you notice.

1/9/24?

Try 1924 for the combination.

Wait no. That's their 3rd anniversary. Try 1921 instead, that's when they got married.

No no, the wedding date. 1/9/21

Rose punches in the date mentioned in the photograph, and a noise similar to the noise the door made when she mashed the buttons honks at her.
1 attempt left, the screen notes.

The wedding date returns much more pleasing results; there is a release of air, and a pleasant beeping. The heavy mass clicks open.
The intercom above you plays a message in a woman's voice.
"I believe in you, darling."

A smell wafts through the cracks that is reminiscent of mold.

+1
Take a few deep breaths before entering, just so you don't have to breathe as much while you're in there.

Rose sucks in a few breaths of air before traversing into the next room. She does not wish to take off her hat, however, because keeping it on makes her feel safe and warm. This place does not seem safe and warm.

If further prompted, however, she will do so.

Do it. Feeling safe and warm is for times when you DON'T need that hat for genuine breathing safety.

Just hold your breath and take a quick look into the room to see what's in it, then close the door again while contemplating if we need to go in there at all.

We could just go somewhere else and get a napkin or something to breathe through.

Seconded. Let's do that whole reconnaissance thing.
