You wake up in a room.
You have no recollection of any events beforehand.

"Ugh...I feel woozy. Where am I? My head feels funny."

Hiya! This is my first quest(and my first time drawing this sort of thing. Or drawing in general, technically). So here's hoping for a good one, nya~

>>Examine book
All of the pages seem to be stuck together except for the cover and top page. There are some symbols which seem to make up the title. On the bottom there's a message in the same handwriting as the note on the cover. It says:

"To finder: I translated it for you. The important bits anyway. -D"

There's a key on the inside cover. I pocket it. Should I take the book too? It's actually pretty lightweight.

Good thinking. We couldn't see that there was a door from our angle. Looked like just two passageways into a grey hallway. Make a mental note to wrap yourself in everything. We will now successfully identify impassible doors.

Farewell book: you shall be missed.

Jumping sounds potentially fatal. What about inching around the sides? The edge to your left (our right) looks wide enough for your feet. Also, I'm somewhat leery of the elevator. Let's explore everything else first, just in case it's full of baddies.

Glad to have you back!
>>
No. 392049 ID: 3e85e3

You already read the book, at least the pages that weren't crusted together, so no need to go after it. Try the evelator! If it goes horribly wrong you can use the pit there as a deadfall that you jump around, while whatever's chasing you falls right into.

>>Look around
On the other end of the room is an empty space cut into the wall and a spiderweb in the corner.

There isn't anything else here really, except for the bed which is too big to drag around and the table the book was on, also too big to drag.

Should I still keep looking around or taking loose things?

All of the buttons are buttons. That sounded kinda redundant, oh well. The black buttons open and close the door. I've never heard of an "Exit" button on an elevator, and this one seems to be scribbled out.
