Garcia [penny] Pendejito wielding his magnificent Pinchazo-Hotspur meets one of the locals outside the Town of Poyo's Mark. "Senor," says the gruff hispanic man, "el burro is blocking my cows. Please move it, gracias." The man seems to be insulting the condition of your horse. It is rather lacking and sickly, you are very lucky to actually arrive to any sort of town on it. It was sold to you by a shifty cattle rancher and it makes you wonder how reputable the business would be anywhere in this region. "My apologies," replies garcia, "But this is the only place they would let me keep my horse. Can't you go around it?" "Si," replies the man in an angry tone, "gracias por nada!" You stop the man for a second to ask him a question. "Wait, can you tell me where Conquistador Jinapeer is?"
The man suddenly stops in his tracks, he eyes you from head to toe then turns back around and goes on his way. "No habla loco," he replies to garcia as he pulls his cows on ahead. The man had shown signs of knowing Jinapeer, but whether the Conquistador was famous or infamous in this town seems to be a question we need to investigate deeper. There are a few resources we can tap, the first is the local peoples such as this man. The second is the Cantina or watering holes here. And the third is talking to the local law enforcement. Either one of these choices would make a decent start to find Jinapeer and retrieve more info on the Beast of Mexico. But which to choose, that is the question.
