Well you can help me find a pen for starters.
The only tool I have at the moment is a pencil. The things it creates are to.. Weak.

Well like I said I plan on leaving this place. I need a pen to make more permanent objects. sadly I can not draw things out of my reach. Like a ladder for instance.

you can't make one rung at a time and climb up and make the next? what about make it on the ground and pick it up?

Draw a collapsible ladder and extend it. Alternatively, draw a ladder on the ground and lift it into position yourself.

You could just make a bunch of boxes and stack them.

Just draw a grappling hook with rope attached and throw it up there.

This is... A serious letdown.

well see if you can draw a hole in the ground and see where that goes.

ye, sounds like a idea, or a hole in the ceiling.

May as well draw holes in everything, just to see what happens.

Don't draw holes in yourself though, just in case.

Don't worry, i'm not gonna draw on myself.
The holes on the sides just lead to the desert again. The one on the floor goes far down.
I can't reach the ceiling so can't draw there.

can you make a big crate to stand on so you can get to the ceiling? if not then make a torch and drop it don the floor hole.

use the rope to climb down after you made a flashlight

Crate -> draw hole in ceiling. You may want to draw something on the floor to which you can tie your rope. Then you'll be able to lower yourself into the hole and check out what's down there. Also, draw a lantern that you can hang from your belt, or else a miner's headlamp, so that you can see while still using your hands.

My pen isn't doing anything!

maybe it's pencil only? need to work fast and fill them all before it's erased.

If you still can't write on it with a pencil, draw cuts in the surrounding wall to remove it from the wall and see what is behind it.

cut numbers out of the wall and put them into it.

Try using the eraser on the end of your pencil!
