It is dark.
Open your eyes and see~
open your eyes?
Susan's eyes are already open, but it is too dark to see.
Punch everything feel around.
check your inventory. if you aren't sure then feel yourself up looking for pockets. still nothing then feel for walls.
>>329360 >>329361 Susan has no items other than her clothes. She feels around. It feels as if she is in some kind of wooden box.
wood? that isn't so bad. try pushing really hard on all the walls. if that does work then rock the box and tip it over and kick at the roof.
>>329364 Wood is pussy stuff. Punch it until it explodes.
>>329364 Oh well in that case punch everything.
>>329366 >>329371 >>329377 Susan attempts to punch and push on the walls of the box, but unfortunately she is a bit lacking in physical strength and the box is well made. All she succeeds in doing is making her hands sore. Susan then rocks the box back and forth and succeeds in tipping it over. Part of the lid splinters slightly letting in some light. The box is now on its side.
>>329379 Oh you're a cute little lizard thing. Pry open the broken bit, and peer out.
Try to make an opening as mentioned earlier. Then: RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE.
>>329381 >>329382 Susan succeeds in prying off the broken pieces of the lid and peers out the box. She appears to be in some sort of storage room.
>>329385 Scramble around in the other boxes and sniff them like an adorable animal.
Check other boxes for useful items.
>>329387 >>329388 Susan gets to work opening the other boxes. The first three she tries all open very easily. But all she finds in them are a bunch of strange rolls of very flimsy paper.
However the next box she tries to open proves to be more difficult.
>>329398 Knock on it.
>>329400 Susan knocks on the box...
...and is surprised to hear something knock back!
Try to pry of the lid like you did on your own box.
Get it open!
>>329405 >>329407 Susan begins to work on prying the lid off. As she does so a voice comes from the box: ???: Who are you? What's going on? Where am I? The voice sounds frightened.
>>329412 Tell them you're Susan, you don't know where you are right now, and you'll have them out in a second.
Tell the boxperson that you're them from the future. Then after their initial shock is gone tell them you're Susan. :3c
>>329412 Tell boxdude that it's ok and you will have them out of there soon.
>>329418 >>329449 >>329455 Susan: My name is Susan. I don't know where we are either, but I'll have you out of that box in a second. She decides against telling the voice that she's from the future and freaking them out even more. The voice responds, no longer sounding as scared as before: Damian: I'm Damian. I'll try pushing on the lid of the box to help you open it.
With their combined efforts they are able to get the box open. Damian stands up. Damian: Thanks so much for helping me out of there!
Aww, a birdy. Say you're welcome and investigate some more boxes. Maybe call out to see if anyone else is in a box? Do we remember how we got here? Ask Damian if he remembers.
The two of you should check the rest of the boxes for PEOPLE or USEFUL STUFF
>>329523 Wait, "from the future"?
>>329530 >>329543 Susan: You're welcome. Susan begins checking the other boxes. In most of the boxes she finds more of the paper rolls. However in one box she finds bottles that appear to be made of some kind of strange lightweight glass filled with a blue-green liquid. The are all labeled LIQUID SOAP. Damian looks at the bottles you found quizzically. >>329544 Susan is not really from the future (or at least she doesn't think she is). But for some reason she had considered telling Damian that she was before deciding against it.
>>329530 The last thing that Susan remembers is walking to the market to sell some of the vegetables from her garden. She has no idea how she ended up in that box. Susan asks Damian if he remembers. Damian: I'm afraid that I don't. One minute I was foraging for fruit and the next I wake up in a cramped box.
Susan opens the last box. It is filled with several towels, a wooden stick with some kind of giant suction cup attached to the end, and two metal cylinders labeled AIR FRESHENER.
This is weird, why are we in what appears to be a janitor's supply closet? Let's try opening the door.
>>329565 You may not be from the future, but it looks like you are from the past. Well, wither that or from a different world (or abducted by beings with a higher tech level, but they would be unlikely to just put you in a closet).
>>329568 Susan tries the door, but unfortunately it seems to be locked. Damian follows her to the door.
look around near the ceiling. maybe you can see a window?
>>329603 Susan looks up, but unfortunately the walls and ceiling are bare except for some strange glowing bulbs from which the light is coming from.
Damian speaks up. Damian: Um, I may be able to help get us out of here. I'm not very good but I know a little bit of wind magic. I could maybe try and use it to push the lock and open the door. Although I've never been able to move anything heavier than a piece of paper before...
well dang. you really ARE from the past. seems you were flung INTO the future. looks like you may need to force your way out. but first. knock on the door a LOT.
It's worth a shot! Step away from the door so he can try it. Do we know any magic or anything?
>>329822 >>329827 Susan decides to let Damian try to unlock the door before they knock on it or try to force it open. She stands aside to let him work his magic. >>329827 Susan doesn't know any magic.
There is a soft click as the door unlocks.
Damian turns towards Susan. Damian: It wasn't me who unlocked the door...
Damian backs away as the door starts to open.
Hide behind the door!
>>329891 Susan hides behind the door and Damian follows her lead as the door opens a little more. The head of some sort of creature that Susan doesn't recognize peers inside. It doesn't see them yet.
Wait to see how they react to the open boxes. We don't yet know if you were abducted or if it was just random circumstance.
yeah, if it is confused then it should be safe. if it's mad then it's probably a bad thing. just wait until it enters the room then run out and close and lock the door behind you
>>330288 >>330289 Susan and Damian wait to see the creature's reaction. It pokes its head in farther and Susan catches sight of some kind of metal stick in its hand.
It catches sight of the forced open boxes. ???: Oh shit.
wait for it to run over to the boxes then run through the door and lock it!
Slam it in the door! It's the only chance you have to do real damage!
Throw your body weight against the door, it should injure him enough to drop that weapon.
>>330447 >>330448 Susan rushes to the door as quickly as she can and slams it shut. But the creature is fast and manages to quickly yank its head back outside. She does however manage to catch one of its hands. ???: AH GODDAMMIT! FUCK!
slam your shoulder into the door.
>>330458 Let's hope he needs both hands to use whatever that thing is. Yank open the door and tackle him.
open the door and run
>>329354 Tell Damian to hold the door closed as best he can. Grab the metal cylinders of air fresher and the plunger (wooden stick and suction cup). Then spray the air freshener in gun man's eyes and run past him (grab the gun if you can)
That metal thing that the creature was holding was clearly a gun. We don't want to hold the door shut, 'cause he'll just shoot us through the door. This situation is... Really non-optimal. Fling the door open and bum rush the creature from both sides.
>>330488 >>340042 >>340079 Susan yanks the door open.
But before she can try to run or tackle the creature the metal object hits her hard in the side of the face.
Susan crumples to the ground but is still conscious.
grab it by the legs and yell for Damien to grab the metal thing.
Oh great now we're going to get shot. Doubt Damian can grab any of those weapons now, but maybe he can crack the gun guy in the head with the wooden part of the plunger.
