I have yet to see the creature I am hunting, but the swath of destruction it left behind speaks its own language.
I cannot make a sure guess, but in the villages I saw on the way was not a single survivor to be found.

And yes, I am capable of seeing through the veil of darkness my prey is trying to hide itself in.

Technically I am 'just' a knight, but saying that felt really good.
The base is quickly obliterated. From the inside I can see the mechanism to open it. Oh well.
The stairs lead into a rough room with what appears to be a primitive well in it. The room is very dark, even my elven eyes have a hard time penetrating the grim darkness of the cave.

There isn't much light to work with, not enough for a human to see its hand in front of its face, but I manage to illuminate the well a bit. I see that the well widens after a few meters, but the bottom is still veiled in darkness.

You should not jump or climb down there yet. We have yet two tunnels to check out.
