You awaken… You didn't expect this to happen. You know why you’re here, but you don’t know where you are. You’re memory is coming back… maybe you can remember. What will you do?
examine note.
You read the message. It seems to be written on a plate of some sort. Odd. You inspect the symbols, they’re the same as the ones on the wall. Maybe they mean something?
>>298327 I'd assume they represent the first, second and third dimensions. What's that picture on the wall of?
yeah, seems to reference the pictures.
What's that picture behind you? And what's on the ground? Also, anything significant on the wall across from the three dimensional pictures?
You inspect the three pictures. They are obviously related to the first, second and third dimensions.
The portrait on the wall is of a stern looking fella with an I above his head. He looks kinda important.
>>298344 On the ground is a strange circle and two squares.
>>298344 Nothing significant at all.
>>298382 Oh god a mural Try to pick up the circle and squares.
Seriously? They're just two squares and a circle? Okay, well, let's examine the door. How it's locked, etc etc
wait, try back of note.
>>298447 It is blank.
ah, but is is now a 3RD square. place a square on each picture with a square frame.
>>298445 It's a small door, locked with a simple key lock and a chain guard. You suspect the key is hidden in the room somewhere.
>>298429 You examine the circle, its darker than the rest of the floor with a slight grove outlining it. You have no idea what its purpose might be.
>>298429 You pick up the two squares. Both are metal plates like the one the message is written on, but they are hinged together. >>298687 You would like to try that, but these two plates are connected and can't be taken apart. The plates don't seem to be welded together or have any hinges. You wonder how they did that. Probably not important to focus on.
fold the joined plates to a 90 degree angle then put the third plate on it so they have a common vertex.
How odd that the door would have one of those chain locks on it, considering such a thing can pretty much only be operated from one side, and there doesn't seem to be any other way out of this room. There ARE ways to close it from the other side, but it isn't easy.
>>298687 The panels look like they would fit together but you would need to get the pictures off the wall first. While testing this out you notice something at the bottom of the I.
>>298693 The pieces fit together with a click. Finally you're making progress, you can't wait to get out of this stupid room. YOU HAVE ASSEMBLED 1/2 CUBE(S).
examine white spot on line panel.
>>298698 It's a button. Press it?
hmmm... sure
>>298699 Push butan.
>>298700 >>298701 You push the button and the light flickers on. It shines in a straight beam towards the ground.
Examine Light. Maybe there's something unusual there, too. I mean, there must be, for the light to be acting like that.
>>298728 Stick your hand in the beam.
no, stick part cube into light.
>>298746 >>298749 You inspect the light, unable to figure out how or why it's beaming down on the circle like that. You stick your hand in slowly. The light thankfully has no vaporizing effects.
>>298750 Nothing happens.
>>298765 Can you take the circular picture off the wall?
>>298767 It doesn't budge.
Swing on the lamp like a badass. Or, if you can, direct the light around the room, see if it reveals anything. Furthermore, how rigid is the constructed half-cube? Can you put it down and stand on the tri-point?
Alright... tilt the lamp so that it's shining on the portrait.
>>298773 You use the 1/2 CUBE to jump onto the lamp and swing like a badass.
>>298773 Wheeeee! Fuck yeah thi-
*click*
You fall on your ass. The lamp cord doesn't seem to be broken, but the light has gone out. This room sucks.
insert lamp rim into ground circle groove.
Take dimension pictures off wall and construct other half of cube.
>>298789 Clever. Try that first. I'm betting that the three squares on the wall won't come off anyway.
Hey, now that the conical lamp that's just the right size to shine a light down into the grooved circle on the floor... why don't we try putting the two together?
>>298789 >>298856 You pull the lamp over and set in place. Sure enough there's a click and the lamp cord tightens.
The | picture falls off the wall, revealing a hole in the wall. Finally, progress. Now let's see what else we can do here.
attach | panel to part cube and take key. use key on door.
>>298794 You take the | picture and set it in your cube. You only need two more panels now to complete it. YOU HAVE ASSEMBLED 2/3 CUBE(S).
No matter how much you try the picture won't budge. You guess you have to do something to get it to fall off like the last one.
>>301107 You unlock the door. Looks like getting out of here was easier than you expected.
Before we go... the portrait has a button in the I on it. Push it!
