I have retrieved Rico's case from its stand. I am instructed to carry Rico in her case until combat is imminent, because it is more adorable. The familiar heft of my weapon is a small comfort in these violent times.

Where is your current location? Limit movements to rooms which you can reach without passing through any rooms which contain movement.

Go to the Kitchen if there's a door where you are immediately accessing it.

Ah the kitchen. Those who visit in the daytime believe it to be a pleasant, wholesome location, but I know the truth. A seedy underbelly hides in the shadows here, and despite my best efforts, I have never been able to fully eradicate it. I doubt I ever will. But I am the only thing standing between this house and the dark swarms, and so I work at my impossible task night after night.

The lights have been left on here again. The scum does not come crawling out of hiding unless it is dark.

if lightswitch is in down position then you can turn the lights off by getting under it and firing straight up at it.

The chair is heavy. While I can move it, doing so takes time, and consumes a significant amount of power. The chair is now under the light switch, ahead looms the daunting task of climbing its wood frame. But difficulty and danger are part of my job. This is undoubtedly only the beginning of the hardships I will have to face tonight.

okay, jump up and grab the slighting higher beam on the side, then swing your leg over to hook on to the lower beam and use that to pull yourself up.

The climb was simple enough. I should have known it wouldn't be that easy.

Though my body is not designed for the feats of acrobatics some models are designed for, this distance should be within my limited capabilities.

I jump, and the lights go out. :D
I land. The platform is narrow. D:
Gyro-stabilization limits exceeded. I fall. Unmounting hardware.

...Again, I guess. The lights are off, it may take a few minutes for my targets to begin wandering into the open, but at least now I will have have a chance to strike tonight.

Rico is right where I left her. I feel much better having her nearby. Seems my internal hardware fail-safes disengaged everything shock sensitive when my accelerometer went outside standard operating limits, so the fall didn't hurt as much as it could have. One of my elbow joints is a bit out of whack now, that's all.

Oh! What's this? Something moving into the open already?

It appears to be a ground beetle. I find myself somewhat conflicted on how to deal with this little guy. My settings give me a lot of leeway here. Technically, anything alive and smaller than a cat is a valid target, but I am allowed to discriminate and prioritize my engagements. My only specific instructions pertain to the potential discovery of a termite colony. This discretionary policy is both to prevent unhappy accidents and to conserve my own resources. I only expect to receive additional munitions approximately once a week. However, Rico and I are the only measure currently deployed to protect this home from the invading hoards. If I don't take care of it, no one will.
>>
No. 298097 ID: 8c73c8

if it isn't a true pest then leave it alone, need to take out the worse critters.

Is it capable of harming a person?
Is it a disease vector?
Is it a pest that damages infrastructure?
Is it a species that invades human food stores?
Is it a species that forms colonies?
Is it a species that creates structures?
Is it flight capable?

If all the answers are no, then preserve ammo by releasing it outside.

flight capable does not really mark something as a pest.
