So here we are, in the gates of castle run by undead and unholy beings. We have heard rumors that the cause is a demon only appearing during full moon. We three, Barton, Kach and Jintigee, have come here to clean up this place.

Shit sucks.

Sure does.

Draw all weapons, equip all anti-undead relics, and proceed with caution.

Okay, we are all ready now.

:jintigee: So, any great ideas how to get in?
:kach: We could break the door. I recall Barton has explosives with him.
:barton: I would like to save them for more important occasions.
:kach: What are you saying, that this isn't a good occasion for such?
:barton: Oh shut up deathpriest. The explosion would alert the whole castle.

Look for climbable walls.

Unless one of you mugs has a grappling hook.

Okay, we use a grappling hook to get on the wall. It's all going well.
Currently I am on the wall, Kach is still climbing. There are several patrols of undead patrolling the courtyard.

How closely tied to the one that raised them are they and how easy are they to dodge?

If the raise won't notice it if they 'die' again then maybe the deathpriest has something nifty that they can use to put them back in the dirt.

Here we go! Slash with your sword and world will slide into its rightful place!

:kach: Oh, they found us already?
:barton: Nah, just undead patrolling on the walls. Very weak ones to boot. No alarm, so I guess they all live invidually without mind.
:kach: Good to know. I am sure inside we will face some much mightier foes.
:barton: Hah, the only problem will be locating the demon.
:kach: I am not too sure about that. Be on guard!

:Jintigee: So, are you alright?
:Barton: It's just a scrape.
:Kach: Hush! Let's go. We cannot waste time.

Okay, courtyard is full of undead as I mentioned.
There might be entrance to the castle on the wall. Hmmm. Windows can be broken and we might able to climb on the roof...

We need a quick rundown of the effects of these powers, as well as the cost.

Don't split up. Your team works well to cover each other's weaknesses, and no doubt you are all very competent on your own, but you are now inside enemy territory, and without the possible advantage of psychological terrorism due to the enemy being undead, splitting up and implementing surgical ghost-strikes is no longer practical.

Let's see If I've got this straight:
>Barton, excellent tactician, better fighter. Able to deal with single and multiple enemies, including ranged attackers. Best when fighting in clear areas and against orthodox opponents. Disadvantaged by surprise attacks or clutter; anything that slows his personal momentum or distracts his focus.
>Jintigee, a survivalist first with excellent skill in stealth, and uses a fighting style that focuses on striking before the enemy can react, or slipping through and bypassing the enemy's defences. Stereotypically effective as a scout, and able to hide himself easily, both in low and in high places. Disadvantaged by equally fast or heavily armed/armored opponents.
>Kach, a capable priestess-warrior that specializes in one-hit-K.O.'s, and is the only one of the group that can reliably damage or destroy unorthodox opponents without undue risk or cost in materials. Best used as the assassin of the group, moving in and out of combat to cut short battles with quick slash of her scythe. Disadvantaged by multiple opponents, traps, or surprise attacks.
How accurate are my assessments?

Current course of action: continue along the wall, and quickly. Jintigee should take point keep an eye towards the courtyard, while Kach keeps an eye on the horizon and along the wall. Barton, you bring up the rear watching for incoming from behind, and keep an eye on the towers and windows for spotters and archers. Any forces you encounter, dispatch them. If non-undead, kill them first and kick the bodies to the side quickly where they won't be readily noticed, then move on faster. All of you need to keep an eye out for anything useful: flammables, light armor, dark cloaks, symbols of indentification, tomes of dark lore, etc.
>>
No. 289532 ID: 867af1

Take a quick look at the scratch

Yeah keep going on the walls and try not to be spotted from the courtyard. Have Jintigee take point. See If you can pick a lock or quietly break a window by gluing/taping some fabric to it before hitting it so it shatters silently.

Climbing is only an option if you can find some angle to do it where you won't be seen.

Those assesments are quite accurate! Super-powers eh? Those can be only used once per day. They are quite exhausting, but do massive damage. Jintigee becomes fast as lightning for brief moment and Kach becomes avatar of Death God for a short while. My super-power slashes, crushes and burns the hell out of anyone nearby.

Here, have a map.

:Kach: "Hey, Grosian swamp-bear incoming!"

Remember, you can also control other characters.
>>
No. 289801 ID: 867af1

Swamp bear or undead swamp bear? I guess you could treat it like any other charging beast.

Barton: Summon a spear or polearm and step back, letting the bear impale itself as you slow down its charge with a firm application of your strength. Don't let it bite the spear.

Kach and Jintigee: Attack once the bear is slowed. Go for the neck and legs respectively.

Impaling sounds great, but watch out if it jumps. Kach, once it's stuck for even a moment, swing in and harvest it's soul. It's too big, and too fast for a fair fight.

>>

Clearly the way to remove the demon is to hang him upside down from the rafters and beat him with a silver stick.

Also look through the stuff that guy was carrying.
>>

>>302985
Do all of this, unless you think that the silver stick thing won't work.
If it won't work then bind him securely and try to figure out what's possessing him, then list what the weaknesses of that are.
