You exit your room in hopes of finding out more about this place you have been dumped into.

On the way out, you check your pockets and indeed do find some gold pieces but above all an envelope.

Outside, you see a rather short, portly man who could easily have been mistaken for a dwarf. Or a large chicken egg.

"Good morning, madam. I trust our room was pleasing to you, non? You may pay the remainder of your boarding fee with Pierre, at the front desk."

At this, you see a bald man wave at you from... well, the front desk.
