Analyse dimensions of current room.
Ah, well, these things happen. Tell us about yourself, Unit 45130-V. Got any other name, to start with? The numbers are a bit of a mouthful.
>>159610 Damn, left for dead. Poor you. Well, you'd best extricate yourself from the pile of metal bits you seem to be in.
>>159614 45130-V? Asiel? Asieov?
attempt to acess damage done to yourself. if you are there you must have some sort of damage
We shall go by Asieov. It sounds easy enough to remember.
>>159622 "Ordinary, Robotic, Bodyguard"-154
>>159628 How about Asi for short?
>>159628 I'm pretty sure the robot guy is Asieov. We're apparently a rogue subroutine. I like the idea of us being ORB-154.
>>159622 Unit 45130-V, you may refer to us by designation Qoppa-Upsilon-Epsilon-Sigma-Tau ['Q.U.E.S.T.' or 'Qoppa' for short.] In accordance with self-preservation protocols, recommend finding repair station.
I like Qoppa-Upsilon-Epsilon-Sigma-Tau, or just Qoppa, as well. It fits. Also recommend locating a repair station. Structural damage and the replacement of both primary and secondary power supplies seem to be the priority.
>>159638 PID: ORB154 Description: ORB v1.5.4 is an emergency failsafe system designed for improved functionality in situations outside tolerable operating parameters. Triggering events: *Loss of memory event. *Transfer to tertiary power. *Absence of positioning information. *Severe structural damage. Trigger threshold (2) met by (4) critical operation errors. --- Investigate non-immediate surroundings. Smoke and fire detected; determine source and distance.
>>159646 If it's likely to be a repair facility, and you need repair, then I mean, well... dang, this ain't higher math, here.
Keep your sensors open for other actives. If the theory that you were intentionally deactivated is true, then other actives may work towards your repeat deactivation.
>>159674 Nice touch.
>>159646 Open fires and smoke observed. Slag pits are kept in enclosed areas to prevent contamination. Thermal requirements for smelting exceed what is possible with open flames; open flames not used. High probability of open fire source being anomalous.
>>159682 Smallest chamber most likely specialized work zone. Suggesting use of right hand rule of exploration.
>>159682 Left.
>>159686 agree
>>159686 Uh, right, sure.
right. smaller facility can also be a commanding room. please state capatibilities? i dont want to discover this is a gang turf or actual enemy ground in the worse way possible. (nicely done with the name)
>>159745 Go north
>>159745 Examine that green light.
The green light appears to be next to the north door, making both destinations the same. Make sure to keep away from the machinery, even if it is turned off.
can nanobots be reconfigured to do tasks outside of their factory setting? such as molecular dis-assembly or self repair?
>>159782 Well, go through the door, then.
>>159798 very well. activate screen.
>>159798 Check the control panel or button or whatever that thing is.
>>159798 main screen turn on.
>>159812 First go to the repair facility.
are repair and upgrade facilities compatible with our frame? or, if not, can they be reprogrammed so that they can work with?
>>159812 Yeah let's go to the repair room. See if we can't get you back in working order.
>>159812 Head to the repair facility.
>>159851 Comply.
>>159851 Um... okay? Are there any safeguards you can put in place just in case this repair system malfunctions and starts hurting you?
>>159851 you are in obvious need of repair, and repair has been approved. comply.
Nano-Assemblers grant you both a new weapon and a new tool. Given your only current defensive tools involve bludgeoning with your fists, the Nano-Assemblers are the recommended upgrade.
>>160096 I'm going to go with Nano-assemblers as well.
nano seems OP. does it allows you to make tools, ONE blade or to CRAFT blades?
I am under the assumption that it allows the formation of a single blade, likely attached to the arm. The post >>159798 mentions that the Nano-Cells build themselves into an object and deconstruct for storage. I suppose we could remove the Nano-Cell blade, but we wouldn't be able to construct a new one afterwards. My use of the word "tool" is because a sharp knife can be used for more than combat - prying and wedging, for example.
>>160115 >Y
i am taking you have many tools in your database for the nano assemblers to work as tools. go for it. later on we will use it to craft you actual weapons.
>>160122 The function of the Nano-Assemblies is understood. Thank you for the clarification.
>>160142 What's that blue thing?
>>160142 welll, id like you to make trhowing implements. i doubt it will be useful but its gonna be a good test of the blade and your craft skills. if you where to craft bulllets, could the nano assemblers turn into a weapon?
>>160163 He can't. The weapons are connected to him, They can't be detached.
only location left is the central room. we should carefully explore that area.
>>160164 im not saying he would fire nanocell assembled bullets. im saying if he find actual bullets or make some himself, could he fire it?
confirmed. open door and be wary.
>>160183 Try scanning past the door first. We do not want to release a giant killer robot that squishes us immediately.
