Hmmm, illuminate the area around the tazer first. Last time someone tried to pick up a weapon from the ground they lost a leg and bleed out.

And it's good to hear that you're strong. But how strong? Strong enough to snap someones neck or crush their larynx with one blow? Because the people that set this up may have given you a gun with blanks, and with just one bullet it would be a bad idea to rely on the gun.

Btw I liked the death counter. I think it added a nice sense of urgency to the characters actions.
