I guess I can go to The Pallet Lake Preserve to train a while. After all, training is required for someone to become The Future Pokemon Queen. I have a couple Pokeballs with me that my mother gave to me. You think I should take a potion or two as well? I mean, the Pokemon at the Pallet Lake Preserve are weak and their strength is kept in check by The League. But, you know, no one has ever completed a Pokemon Journey with a single Pokemon.

Ask it how it came to be here (note that it was apparently abandoned by its last trainer, isn't that sad?)

As for something to say to the rest of them... Do the League schools still teach the importance of developing friendship with your Pokemon? If they do, you could tell them about that... or tell them that going on a journey with a trainer is one way for them to get stronger, so they can protect themselves and those they care about easier.

But don't try to sugarcoat it, getting stronger means they're going to be fighting other Pokemon being led by other trainers - ones who are also trying to get stronger.

Actually, the 'temp' in 'Tempball' stands for 'temporary', not 'temperature'.

I hand him the Nidoran and he captures it in the Tempball. He then puts it in a machine. I guess it's to heal Pokemon quickly, because after about six seconds he picks it back up. He hands the Tempball to me.

Lance is a former Elite Four member. Now no one knows where he is currently. Some news reports say he's appeared in two different places of the world at the same time. I don't know how he does that, though, or if any of those are just huge fans of his.

I seem to recall my mother talking about a news report about Giovanni having his gym destroyed by a huge blast by a gas leak one day. I didn't know he was a criminal until you mentioned it. I guess he really is smart, but not as smart as me.

What? Level? This isn't some role playing game.

If the Pokedex gave you a level of strength, then people wouldn't be motivated to train. They'd just go for the most powerful Pokemon right off the start.

As for Waffle's tactics, I've tried everything I can think of. Offense, defense, speed, nothing seemed to work for her. And I've been fighting nothing but Rattata and Pidgey.

Why should I , the future Pokemon Queen, be discouraged simply because of a weak pokemon? I'm sure there's a reason she's weak.
