Let’s start you off with a simple one. There is a baby, represented by this marble, stuck on a cliff. You need to get it safely to the ground using only gears. As a reminder, you may use as many gears as you want, but only gears for this problem. Good luck, Employee #ERROR.

What do the gears do, though? Can they translate, or only rotate?
What is the baby's behavior pattern? Does it move at all?

A real baby would get pinched by interlocking gears.

One gear rotating counterclockwise placed next to the baby, in order to knock it off the cliff.

Below that, a series of large gears rotating slowly, but not interlocked. The baby should tumble between the teeth of the gears towards the ground.

I mean, if we can use as many gears as we like, then we could stack them horizontally into a staircase. Then baby can just crawl down.
