In a freestyle quest were a lot of factors can be influenced and manipulated by the participators. This means that the whole tone of the story can be dictated by them.

So your name is Rocky Raccoon and you would like to be called Rocker. Hmm, strange I thought that you were a birdling, I guess Raccoon is just your last name. Ahh now I see it, you never had a liking towards other animals or even this rock that you were born on, your true love was the stars up in the beautiful and huge space.

Let's change the topic more on your earlier life at the academy. I want to hear how your education went and what you excel on.

Notes from the quest author

This is going to precisely be the stat sheet for this character. On your left are three indicators, first one is for three classes that Rocker liked, two classes that he was proficient at, and one which he mastered. At the same time on the right, there are three negative indicators, first one is for three classes that Rocker hated, two classes that he never had luck with, and the one which he was bad at. Now let's go over the possible classes which he attended.

A) Sharpshooting class, involves proficiency with all sort of projectile weapons.

B) Driving class, primarily involves his ability to operate land-based transportation devices.

C) Robotic class, involves his ability to operate, upgrade and even fix robotic companions.

D) Conversation class, involves his ability to converse with others, trade, and negotiate.

E) Survivalist class, involves his ability to adapt to hostile nature environment and also involves trap construction.

F) Hand-to-hand class, involves the physical straight, fighting skills, and his capability to disarm his opponent.

G) Chemistry class, involves his ability to create healing potions and other useful items.

H) Strategy class, involves his ability to assess the situation and act accordingly planning and executing complex maneuvers.

I) Intelligence class, the ability to psychoanalyze someone, read their emotions of tier fecal expressions. This call also synergizes with other classes in interesting ways.

J) Fencing class, involves proficiency with all sorts of melee weapons. Whether they are one-handed, two-handed, blunt, sharp, long, or short.

K) Engineering class, the ability to fix things, whether they are electrical or manual. It also involves salvaging parts and combining things.

L) Magical class, this involves magical abilities. Yes, magic exists in this science fiction setting and I will go into more detail about it.

M) Agility call, involves his upgraded movement speed, better reflexes, and flexibility.

LIKED
sharp shooting (we aren't that good at fighting, so shooting is better, whether it be a stun gun, or a lethal gun)
Agility call (to draw our weapon out quick)
Intelligence class

PROFICIANT
Robotic class (so we can have a robot buddy)
Engineering class (if our ship gets broken and we need to fix things)

MASTERED
Survivalist class (we are explorers after all, this is a given)

HATED
Driving class (can drive on the road, but gets into road rage)
Conversation class (was always kind of shy around other people, but he likes talking to robots)
Chemistry class

NO LUCK
Fencing class (was always better with a gun)
Hand-to-hand class

BAD AT:
Magical class

Notes from the quest author

I didn't make an official update I am just placing all decisions one towards the others and simply comparing them in my mind. For the time being, I will go into a little bit more when it comes to stats. First of all, there will be no leveling up in this quest, which would determine what this character's strings and weaknesses are.

Notes from the quest author

Secondly, I would like to focus on the H.T.A.P.U. which stands for Heart, Transportation, Amplified, Protection, Unit. Because Rocker the Rocky Raccoon is a lich he is by all sense of the word is an immortal corps and his heart is played in a separate device that will be following him and in practical terms is the extension of him as well. The way how it will function primarily will be linked with the master class that Rocky possesses. This is just me going into more detail about the mechanics of this quest.

Notes from the quest author

I made up my mind about the class stats. This character is build more of a tech-expert survivalist hybrid. I like that contradiction of somebody who is most proficient in surviving outdoors but his secondary abilities are tied to technological know-how. It is obvious what this character is good at and what he is lacking, combat isn't his strongest capability. It doesn't mean that he can't defend himself but that going on multiple opponents isn't an optimal strategy as for H.T.A.P.U. or Bull Finkle as you named it I will go moreover its abilities when we come to the equipment part of the preparation.

Hmm, I didn't know that you gave names to your two robotic companions. I do know that you have resentment or disgust with the other living creatures, but I must ask you one thing? When you are on those long missions do you ever feel lonely? Understand that I am not thinking any less of you, it is practically normal to give names and create long-lasting friendships with something that isn't alive, excluding the whole heart thing. For instance, I hear a person befriended a wallyball while he was trapped on a deserted island.
>>
No. 1003297 ID: 12b116

Of course. Everybody gets lonely sometimes.
>>
No. 1003298 ID: f4e853

I mean, yeah? Rocky does want to conncet with other people, it's just that he hasn't met anyone he feels he can bond with. Probably just has high expectations of people, which is why he prefers the company of robots! They don't judge. Being friends with them is much easier as they can be modified to act to his standards! Good thing one of the things he's especially good at is robotics too.
>>
No. 1003299 ID: e51896

Oh! what if he used his robotics ability to make his robot companions have an AI and can talk to him?

Since Bullfinkle is pretty much his heart, he pretty much speaks from Rocky's heart, gives "Listen to your heart" or "Follow your heart" a whole new meaning

1003335

I see and understand your reasoning, you go on long voyages and complete isolation can affect your mind so connecting with them is actually a healthy thing to do. As for the whole thing about AI, It is true that you can program them but at the same time there is a limit to how smart you can make them. After all, we don't want to have another robot uprising. Now let's talk more about how other coworkers would describe you and how you would describe yourself.

Notes from the quest author

Unlike your skill settings, this will be your character's characteristics and personality traits. This time around there are four categories and in each one, you can give two traits and it is allowed for traits to overlap in other categories. Also if you can think of additional traits you can add them if you want.

The notes of the quest author

Well, it is a unanimous vote. Determines how this character will act toward others and at the same time how he will act towards the other aspects of the mission. The whole aspect of how somebody acts towards different groups of people applies to this character, to the superiors he is dedicated to finishing the mission. To the communication workers, he presents himself as a quick-witted individual. To the science team, the group that informs him about the danger and other aspects of the mission he is unapproachable and acts as a brick wall. And finally how he sees himself as a competitive professional. It is fair to say that this character is finally built, all his experiences and the way how he acts is established. Nothing else but to finally start this adventure.

:captain6c: Yeah she really says anything flotes around and will let you know that she exists but won't do anything else. She probably just wants us to start talking about your last mission, the one where your ship stopped working and started plummeting towards the planet.

:captain6c: It all depends on how you are going to look at it. I did mention that I am a conductor of this orchestra which means that I have the notes sheet, well in this case it would be the camera on your helmet and you just have to perform as similar as the notes and there will be no problem it is as simple as that. But that is why I am so adamant about you telling me the truth. So let's start with the description of the mission where everything went wrong. Tell me what was your prime directive and what you had to accomplish in that mission.
>>
No. 1003911 ID: e51896

Directive is the same as most missions: Cartography. Go to an assigned planet, explore as much of it as I can or certain unexplored important parts of the planet, and record findings and create a map of the planet for future voyagers to explore easier.

This recent mission was to explore and map out a very strange planet that mysteriously phased into existence.

The planet came out of a portal. Apparently, the universe it came from didn't want it and sent it here.

You were cleaning the ship with your buddy Gideon, when you got the message giving you a mission to about exploring that new planet.

:captain2c: There were conflicting reports about that uncharted area of the universe, a lot of probes were send there but nothing returned. Especially when that planet just came out of nowhere. A lot of rumors started speculating about the nature of that planet, that the universe it came from didn't want it, and sent it here and other speculations. I was never superstitious the destination didn't scare me but I would be lying if all the stories didn't at least create a thought in my head if any of the stories were true.

:captain6c: Now I would like to hear from you what exactly did you choose to bring to your mission, starting with your suit armor. This will give me a better insight into what you expected to find on that planet.

Notes from the quest author

Because you choose for this character to be a master survivalist he gets three armors that change the attributes of his astronaut suit. Pick whichever do you believe will be the best for him, but he can only wear one armor piece. Also whatever you choose as your armor pice the same thing is applied to Bull Finkle.

A) Ranger armor pice, this one is primarily designed for withstanding attack from predators and any other kind of blunt and any other kind of attacks. I provide the most defense, it is fairly heavy and it isn't that flexible.

B) All-terrain exploration armor pice, this is primarily designed for withstanding all elements of nature. The cold weather, warm deserts, and even allows underwater diving. It is second best at defense, it is the heaviest of armor pieces but it has better flexibility than the ranger armor piece.

C) Jungle survivalist armor pice, this armor provides the least defense, and it is the lightest one of them all of them but where it excels at it is the camouflage ability. It is best used for avoiding conflicts and sneaking around your problems.

Notes from the quest author

One last thing that I have to add about the vitality of our protagonist. He has two things that are keeping him alive the power of his suit and the wellbeing of his H.T.A.P.U. if one of them is severely damaged there will be penalties for them on your other skills. But it is also possible for fixing any damages that one or the other gets. For the suit power core, you need engineering and components to fix it as for the H.T.A.P.U. you need magic to fix it.
>>
No. 1004010 ID: e51896

I really wish I knew sooner that H.T.A.P.U. requires magic to be fixed. It was the main reason why I chose Robotics, because I thought robotics would help fix H.T.A.P.U., not magic. I always thought magic was stuff like shooting fireballs, lightning, not something that was needed to fix our robot buddy. If I knew that sooner, I would have made some changes to the stat choosing.

Well, maybe we can still upgrade H.T.A.P.U. with our robotics skill to upgrade his defenses later.

Guess we'll need the Ranger armor then to protect H.T.A.P.U. since our magic is bad.

:captain5c: Well, I picked the ranger armor piece. I had a bad habit of coming into conflict with wild animals on different planets. I never want to harm nor kill them but at the same time, I wouldn't like it if they teared me up into many pieces.

Notes from the quest author

Alright, all of this looks intimidating but it is much simpler. In the lower-left corner, there is the inventory backpack that shows how much free space you have and any item will consume a certain amount of pieces. The first item will be the red blaster that you get along with the holster, which means that this item can be permanently equipped widout the need to put it in the bag and its single cartilage only takes one square of space.

The next weapon is the ion shotgun which is represented with orange color, it is good at close range but not so much at the long-range. Also, its shells take up more space.

Third weapon marked with the blue color rapid-fire blaster, the best way in dealing with multiple opponents at once.

The last weapon is the grenade launcher which is designated with the purple color, this weapon is only best at long range but it is extremely dangerous to use it in close proximity. It can change its grenade types between explosive, incendiary, smoke, acid, and freeze grenade. But if this thing looks like it is taking a lot of space you can simply choose the grenade pack but then you won't be able to change between the other types. The last thing to mention about all the range weapons is that they all come loaded up with the proper ammunition.

In the next color green, we have two close-range weapons the laser cutter and the tazer. The gray color is for robotic companions Gideon and the earworm. The main purpose for Gideon is to follow you around in the rooming mode at which point he can carry additional things while the earworm is primarily used to assess the situation.

At yellow we have the short-range jetpack and the whist mounted portable shield. The shield can also be equipped to be carried all the time and take no space.

The last two pink items are the magical injector and the spear suite core. One can heal the H.T.A.P.U. while the other can instantly fix the damaged suite core.
