With a two dot stunt that's exactly the successes needed to downgrade the damage from automatic to rolled and then from bashing to nothing, meaning you avoid your next dose.
>6, 10, 6, 3, 10, 5, 9, 8, 10, 3
And the next
>6, 6, 2, 6, 10, 10, 10, 2, 6, 6,
Here she reduces it to rolled which
>7
Deals one bashing damage and drains 1wp
>3, 3, 8, 2, 6, 8, 2, 1, 5, 5, 6,
And a second as an automatic level, draining a second wp.
>6, 3, 6, 7, 10, 10, 7, 1 4, 10,
Not enough dice so I'm stealing from my roll, that saves automatically again
>4, 9, 6, 5, 2, 1, 5, 6, 4, 9,
That's a third level of automatic damage and -1wp
>7, 6, 10, 9, 1, 8, 8, 4, 6, 4,
Okay, rolling damage
>5
No damage
>8, 1, 1, 7, 4, 9, 6, 3, 4, 7,
Reduces it to rolled...
>1
No damage
>4, 9, 8, 4, 1, 8, 9, 3, 6, 3,
Rolled
>7
So, overall Posu takes four levels of bashing damage, and -4 temporary will power. Probably important to mark that down and keep track of when you're sleeping, stunt rewards, etc.
>Repair estimate
>10, 1, 6, 8, 9, 9, 1, 6, 6, 4, 5,
So, Posu isn't a crafts woman herself. She doesn't know how much lumber and metal a job like this takes, but she does know they brought extra repair wood because they don't have supplies to restock them in ironport- as a mining town, they don't grow their own food, and the ironwood is no good for boat building, too dense for the water so you shouldn't use it in general repairs or it'll throw the boat off; she didn't really pay attention to the nautical and shipwright technicalities, but she knows enough to know you want your boat to float on water, so if you make it out of wood that doesn't, you'll have to compromise on cargo weight. If you intent to return this ship to the house for more general service to the realm at large, ironwood repairs are basically going to cost quadruple a normal repair job down the line, so it's better if you can avoid your ride being damaged. If your mission goes over quickly though, you'll have food supplies to offload and could use that to try and combat costs.
