M&M's fun. Trying to get characters together for a game I'm going to run soon, but two of the players are very difficult to motivate.

3d6 affects the game in mostly positive ways, too. The only real negative is that high saves become much more powerful - but if you succeed on an 11 or above, it's just about right. The effects that pack a punch on a very low save will happen far less often than the ones that don't.

SAS uses a very unbalanced base system where party members with different dynamics will wreck it every single fucking time. M&M is more balanced, far more reined-in, and almost infinitely more detailed in its mechanics.

It's still breakable, but everything that breaks M&M is in plain sight.
