>So how deep is the interaction between a cyborg and their augmentations? Can we uninstall modules and organs from a dead corpse like we would a dead computer, or are the nerves and flesh integrated into the hardware?
It's probably not best to answer anything story related while on painkillers, but I will do my best. Wisdom teeth arent fun mdudes. Forgive me if I don't answer this well.
The way clockworks are mainly a carved out humans with these machine parts in. The only organs that are really there are the lungs, heart, and brain. These obviously have modifications to them, and theyre all tied down and set in place inside the body. You can remove and exchange parts like any machine, but theres a few parts you cant really touch or else the clockwork "dies", such as the brain or a capsule inside the head. In the current page im working on for the serial, it describes there being support inside that could be removed, with Devin to demonstrate. For the most part, these components can be exchanged for new parts at any time.
I hope this explained it without revealing too much, im doing my best while trying to recover ;u;
(somewhat relevant drawing thrown here as well, whoops)
