Mnemosyne: “Whoa, relax, no judgments here. You look fine, I just - we weren’t expecting you to show.”
Ophidian: “Why? It’s Halloween. I love Halloween! My parents are hardcore atheists, so it was the only holiday our family ever really celebrated. I dress up every year, and I’m not going to let being a woman get in the way of that.”
Mnemosyne: “Yeah, okay, I can get that, but… how are you not crazy dissonant in that outfit?”
Ophidian: “It’s actually easier than it normally is. I think it helps to think of it as part of the costume.”
Catherine: “Huh.”
Ophidian: “Oh! Catherine, is this cool with you? Sorry, I should have asked before I, uh… I mean, I can change, I brought your uniform with me…“
Catherine: “No, it’s fine. You look nice. Did you make that braid yourself?”
Ophidian: “Yeah, I have - I used to have long hair, back in my body. Came with the territory.”
Catherine: “Damn, you’ll have to teach me how to do that. I look good with a braid. Who’s ‘Lara Croft’, anyway?”
Ophidian: “Oh, she’s a character from a bunch of old entertainment sims that my great-great-great-grandaunt used to work on. My dad used to play them with me as sort of a family tradition.”
Mnemosyne: “Your dad played porn sims with you? Yikes.”
Ophidian: “What?! No, they’re totally wholesome!”
Mnemosyne: “Wholesome like that outfit?”
Ophidian: “Hey, shut up, this costume is a classic!”
Mnemosyne: “Whatever you say, O.”
