Gather up, gather all, and let the games begin!

Well, actually, there'll be no competition here; not unless you want to, anyway, nothing ruling it out! But the purpose of this thread, at least initially, is for quest authors to draw charts comparing their characters to each other in terms of strength, speed, skills, or whatever else. You'll see what I mean in a moment; I've drawn a couple of these myself, and since they were so fun I thought maybe someone else will have a go at it as well, and there might as well be a thread.

Thanks to Lagotrope for hooking me up with such a highly qualified organizer.

Another note to make is how I've used humans as a baseline for comparison. This favours characters that are larger overall, in the case of the charts I've already done, but it seemed the best for good effect. Besides which, if I'd used something like percentage of body weight, that would favour the small characters. That's biomechanics for you!

And yes, Maolla is really that strong.

Another thing to note is that this is a representation of passive ability, not considering the temporary maximums available through magic and such. Saulanna would be way off the top of the chart if that was the case. Permanent enhancements such as the scellor's biological tinkering and Radde's cybernetics are counted, though.

Is the speed more because he is an Ayarr or because of the cybernetic legs?
>>
No. 50210 ID: 5bf190

>>360003
He's a Niiar, not an Ayarr (actually, he would call himself an Onnka, an "all-castes", a title scellor get when they become adept in all the psychic disciplines, but he started as a Niiar). Niiar are a little faster than humans once they build up speed, but in his case it's mostly the cyborg legs. Ayaar are known for speed as well, but that's because they bend time to make themselves faster relative to the rest of the world. Radde can actually do that too, but it would count as temporary enhancement.

This thread's gonna serve for some Q&A as well, I would guess!

Maybe they're using really dense space materials the scellor brought!

The truth, however, is that I just didn't bother matching them and drew the characters hefting whatever, since in Radde's case accuracy would have had him lifting like 6 truck tires on a stick or something, I dunno. Though, in Saulanna's case, I have the extra excuse of going for that eighties fitness club look.

The chart doesn’t reflect exactly how strong they are, but more of a general athletic shape. So Kanela isn’t really as strong as a professional trained human, but makes up for it with her extraordinary agility. Don’t take it too seriously, tho.

Took me a bit to do this. This chart is based on physical strength. This also manages to finally be a height chart/reference for these characters, who until now have been height-ed purely on guesswork.

I tried to draw Sekani closer to his original final form. He was slowly looking more and more like a normal Tezakian over the years.

No majibeast Amiel yet :C
