Sounds interesting!
Yeah, the weakest part of Hunter was the pacing- the sudden time and premise skips. It felt like you had good ideas, but weren't giving the quest time to grow between one and the other, or for us to maneuver at each step. (Okay you're bounty hunting, no you're actually hunting demigods, nope you're dead, nope you're a bunny, nope spiritual stuff everywhere, now choose how your friends die D=<). Like, maybe we should have got a normal bounty or few in before we moved up to hunting demigods.
The characters were pretty interesting and fun, and really felt like the strongest aspect of the quest. But we kept skipping past interactions. (Never found out what happened to the bee girl, Regi skipped practically right from first meeting to death- we saw almost no friendship or working relation, we didn't really get to see Rerk and Quint work together, didn't get a chance to see what happened to the 'rescued' bunny cultists, Plipper and Rerk and Abel grew up too fast, etc).
The other problem was with information. Either we had no clue what the was going on or even how to function (Regina and the Shadowman) or we were told everything way too quickly. (For instance, you didn't need to spoil all the demigods and reincarnation stuff as soon as it came up- you could have let the information trickle out slower and more organically in quest. We buy into the story more, sometime, if we have to struggle to figure it out). Fixing pacing would probably go a long way towards fixing this, but it's something to be aware of.
...hopefully that came across as constructive criticism and not a bunch of whining. :p I really did enjoy Hunter, and would be glad to see it return.
