You should draw some more. It's been probably the cutest porn ever, so far.

Talent and inclination aside, it must be pointed out that if one of your most notable actions on tgchan is to draw porn of your characters, then that's what you'll be known for and your quests and questing ability will be taken less seriously. Part of the reason people had/have an initially negative response to you was because of what was seen and blatant fetishisms within BlakeQuest. While it's possible to undo the 'damage caused', perhaps, one must try to think of what kind of message one sends about oneself through one's actions.

That said, perhaps you might choose to draw fanart of other quests that you've enjoyed and place it in the fanart thread? Show that you're a bit more of a team player.

Nothing wrong with drawing plenty of porn on the side. But in quests its all about moderation. To much and it derails the plot and alienates lots of readers. As long as you keep things separate should be fine.

That said, perhaps some double-penetration action with a cute cuddly pair of little dragons?

Or even better, make a Strip Poker package for her. I'd play it.

DRAW a sequence of panels for it, usually 5-10, and include writing for the transitions, loss, victory, checking, folding, and betting. Then send it to one of our dll makers (I forgot the list) in IRC, and bam, good to go.

Well I finally got around to it. Damn positions had me giving up three times. It's loaded with bugs and errors, but I'm so pissed at the drawing right now...

Yep I hand draw and scan just about every piece I do. I printed out 70 Cvs a few weeks ago, but they came out sideways and were unusable, so I decided to draw on them.

They are very good nipples, albeit perhaps somewhat too detailed for such a cartoonish style. That said, you could add them: it's not like there's much cencorship going on elsewhere in your art.

my suggestion: Keep your quest 'censored' insofar as unnecessary sexual details, but in your own thread here do whatever you like. However, your placement of the nipples does need some work.

Truly what messed up Blake Quest was having him get to his town right away, then not find clues to new mysterious things. It got too static and directionless. The blood fetish was a bit weird, but not unworkable. Draw points though, those ruin everything.

Also pick blob blush or hash blush. Putting them both on is overkill. When we see actual blush the picture looks less abstract to us, which makes the blobs seem like real things instead of just abstractions. When you only use blob blush we can just imagine what it means, without thinking of it as actual blobs floating there.

Personally, Blake Quest probably would have been better as a horror themed Quest set on the train, especially with the original way Rover was being portrayed as a cheshire cat-esque creepy character...and then he got emotional and girly and anything 'evil' about him vanished. He would have worked a lot better as the 'Red' of the quest or something, especially since he gave Blake the list in the first place from what I remember.

There was also a sergal mutant a fennec in a straitjacket, and the possibibilty that Blake was a psychotic wreck in the past. All of these things, plus the fact that it's on a cramped, possibly empty train, could have made it a damn good horror quest. Of course, then the FF8 stuff came in. And then he got to town...

I personally loved EVIL!Blake though to be honest though. xDDDD

Ultimately I think that BlakeQuest tried to do too much at once. It went for a dozen themes and directions rather than trying to do a few things well. Various people are going to like some of these themes and various people are going to be turned off by others. But without having a solid 'core concept,' you're never going to have a solid audience base.

It's all about who you want to be and what kind of reputation/image you're trying to build for yourself. If you want to be that guy that has random sexual fetishes just pop up out of left field, then that's your business and I guess that's the kind of audience you're aiming to attract. But if you're trying to build an actual story that anyone takes seriously you're probably going to have to be a bit more mature about what kind of content you insert into your quest.

If it were me, I'd probably tone down the amount of porn here, as well. Don't get me wrong, it's good, and a bit of it is fine and pleasant to see; but it's not a good idea to let people get used to it, either the audience or the artist. It gets to be a habit and a temptation, and people will start to expect it and to lose respect and blah blah blah et cetera. Basically, you want to ensure that people don't automatically think of the porn or the sexual aspects whenever they think of the quest, which I think might be beginning to happen.

Even just putting it on /moo/ might be better, since the "secret club" atmosphere would make it seem more... well, special, I guess would be the word. The negative consequences of porn are reduced the more people feel they have to work for it, or if it seems rare. Hope I'm making sense.

I dunno, working on 2 quests at the same time is a bit difficult, especially when the voices are linking them together...
(I mean geeze, I don't think Cunny was supposed to learn about Quern's situation yet but I'll roll with it...)
It's gonna be hard running both Quern and Cunny, but if you're gonna combine them together at the exact same time then I guess it'll be worth it.
So let's get this clear, can we, the voices in both their heads, relay messages between characters in 2 seperate topics?
If so, then at some point during or after the trials Cunny should be able to use us to directly talk to Qwern. But chances are, the two would run into each other when it happens.

Sometimes artists of whatever type suffer from a lack of motivation to continue on whatever train of progress they've been working on for a while. The same idea or story loses its luster after a while. It's always up to you whether or not it's worthwhile to continue working on what you have or whether you'd be happier doing something else. If you're making Quests for some other reason than because 'it makes me happy' then you're probably confused.
