I Think that Think is a Thinking man's quest.

It seems like there might be some tree-on-bird action in this quest's future.

I think I like Think a lot, but I think I might also like some sort of antagonist, or mystery, or puzzle---a hook, so to speak.

Sorry for the wait, I've been busy with school for the last month or so, which is why I've been pretty lax on updates.

First off, for the design of, um, [Suffering], I was trying to go for a sharp, dark image, to provide a foil for our swooshy, light-colored protagonists. I also wanted it to be something alien and abstract, to counter Impulse's imaginings of itself and Soldnein.

Okay, here's how I made [Suffering], step by step. I work in Photoshop. Here goes:

1. Black background. Pretty simple.

2. Use the polygonal select tool to 'draw' the main body. This requires detailed clicking, and it's how I do all of my non-tablet art. It usually takes the longest amount of time out of the AMAZING CREATIVE PROCESS.

3. Now I use the fill tool to color in what I've selected.

4. This is usually when I get bored and decide to experiment. This is our basic image.

5. I copy the basic image, then blur it and apply a checkered filter.

6. I copy the basic image, then apply motion blur to create precise shading.

7. Now I 'draw' little circles around its 'feet'.

8. Then I blur the circles. We're done!

And there we go. Sorry for the wait on updates and whatnot. Good luck surviving until I do update! Seriously, watch your back.
