OKAY.

I seem to be having some sort of psychological hangup or something here, because every time I've tried to work on this since the last update (and that's a fair number of times, seeing as the last update was more than a week ago), I've gotten frustrated after not really drawing anything and the quest has continued to fall down the board. (It's now on page 3, which I find very sad. :c)

Anyway what I'm getting out of this is that I am apparently really opposed to drawing doobies to the point where some part of me is actively hijacking my thought process to keep me from doing it or something. And that does sound completely fucking ridiculous, I know, but all the same I'm not really sure what I can do about it.

So, should I just declare update 17 not canon and try again from there, or what? I don't really know what to do here, but I don't want to just let the quest die, and I don't think you guys want the quest to die probably, since a lot of you seem to like it or something.

I know I sound like I don't know fucking Van Halen trashing their hotel room over brown M&Ms in the bowl, except that it turns out they actually had a good reason for doing that and I'm just a head case. Sorry. :c

I think I am going to try streaming subsequent updates at livestream.com/typodc , just because doing it just now got me to update and I guess maybe some of you want to see how I make this stuff? I don't know. But I'll try it anyway.

SO YEAH THIS HAS WORKED OUT SO WELL HUH

I do not really have much of an excuse for why updates have been so few and far between beyond "finals" and also "personal life stuff that honestly does not really affect my mood or cut into my time." Two of the last three updates that have actually come into being have only done so because someone else volunteered to draw the art for me. So, I mean, I don't really know. :s

I don't want to quit questing or anything so drastic but something is really going wrong here and I don't really know how to fix it!

ANYWAY, if you're on IRC, you may have noticed how I've been completely missing for a couple of days now. Basically, my regular laptop is in a shop somewhere probably having its fan replaced or something like that, and then a couple of days ago, my Eee power cord got severed, so I don't really have a computer on which to produce updates or hang out on IRC for extended periods of time or anything like that.

And I don't know when this'll be fixed, either.

(wow has it really been since March since I posted in this? good lord)

Anyway, right now I have a bit of a problem in that on top of the various other legitimate and frivolous reasons delaying/preventing me updating things, my tablet is now non-functional.

This is gonna be rectified eventually (no I don't need money), but, uh... could somebody help me out with the art for this? I kind of want to get at least one of these projects I have too many of seen through to some kind of completion, and this is the one the most people seem to like.

Ñ's art is great, but I miss your style. So I hope you have more time in the not too distant future to get back to update the quest yourself.

You really do need to get back into drawing. If you're not drawing updates for these quests then you could at least update some other quest of yours possibly maybe fishy?

It would honestly be a lot easier than it sounds, because he'd only be drawing one quest's worth. The other two would be like running text quests pretty much, which I assume are much easier to run.
