Memes are contagious ideas. The method of making advicedog posters is a meme, but the posters themselves are not, because there's no incentive for people to repeat them. If an advicedog style poster is so awesome people feel compelled to paste it everywhere, then it's a meme, but only then. Memes are about the contagious, cascading effect they have, not about their history or method of making.
So like "brofisting" would be memetic, part of the "bro" meme complex, but the phrase "Find ancient ghost, brofist it" would not be memetic, because it doesn't get used all over the place by a bunch of people.
Not to say these advice posters aren't awesome, but I wouldn't call them memes. That's like calling them "popular" it's just a bit arrogant. I'd call them "Advice Quest" if you want a thing to call them, but memes they ain't.
